Bio Photo <----Great stone right, Artist in Chicago made this as his gravestone, I saw it, and I had to use it as my profile photo.

Just went past the 7500 mark in photo requests fulfilled, lots of miles on the feet, but worth every second of it!

Use photos however you like on ancestry sites, your personal use, etc. If you want us to add a photo to a spouse's memorial, please request that through find a grave. We do a lot of work in the hot summer sun, or even winter cold finding these, at least let us get credit for it!! Please try and remember to request the person you are looking for and spouse at the same time, it makes it much easier for everyone!!

If you leave messages or questions on my member page, please monitor responses. We fill a lot of requests, so we get a lot of thank yous, which is great, but we may easily miss your question. If you have a specific question, you may want to just email us directly! Please also request any changes through the edits page,(top right) it's much easier, as we can just go in and hit accept!!

We also often hit cemeteries 100 plus miles away, in fact, that is what we mostly do, as many cemeteries do not get any type of representation, so we try and help out and get photos. Just mentioning that, because if you ask us to follow up on something, understand it may be very difficult, as these are normally 2 hours away from us in many cases. (we do try to photo surrounding family in most cases, unless we are just inundated with requests at a certain cemetery)

Thank you for the photo and setting up Delores' page. I would like to know if you saw the monument that is in the photo on Jerome's page. It is his military plague on a white stone. It doesn't look anything like the monument photo you posted on his page.
Thank you for your help.

chapel hill cemetery
Yes, it is in very sad shape.. I've made a few calls to the appropriate people and not heard back.. Hopefully someone will get back to me soon as I'm totally frustrated with the whole situation.. I have a really old pic of the cemetery pre 1940 I believe and its soo sad knowing what it was and seeing the condition now. I'm going to go soon and unearth some of the stones that have to be there and are broken and grown over.. Someone has to stand up and be accountable for these issues...

RE: Capt William Foley #148873145 @ Andalucia Cemetery
I did call the funeral home and they gave me the name of the trustee for the cemetery. His name is Max Saxer and he is going to check out Capt Bill Foley's burial and let me know for sure if he is there and if he has a marker. Unfortunately Bill Saxer doesn't have a smartphone with a camera, so your might hear back from me with additional information. Max seems like a very friendly guy, so I'm sure if you need any future information you can give him a call (309)-236-5917. He actually remembers Capt Bill, he said he was a quiet man and that he owned a local bar intowm at one time. Capt Bill's widow is Violet "Vi" Foley, she lives at 14814 78th Ave W in Andalusia. Vi is almost 100 year old, I would love to talk with her but with all the scams people are doing with the elderly, I think that her son might not like me contacting her. Capt Bill and Vi has only one son, Bill Jr. I don't know if he is still living in the area or not. If you are local and see anything in the newspaper about Vi's 100th birthday or her passing, please let me know. Thanks again for your help, Otto
