"I have reflected many times upon our rigid search. It has shown me that everything is illuminated in the light of the past. It is always along the side of us, on the inside, looking out. In this way, I will always be along the side of your life. And you will always be along the side mine. Our families will be with us, and our families' families. I am sending you this because we have shared something to exist for. And, of course, in case anyone comes searching." -from "Everything Is Illuminated" by Jonathan Safran Foer
If you have a correction, additional information, links or would like a memorial transferred to you, please use the Edit tab on that person's memorial and send it using the Suggest a Correction (SAC) form. That gives me a link to the memorial in question as well as a link to your contibutor page, both of which can are a huge help.
PLEASE INCLUDE MEMORIAL #s IF YOU ARE ASKING ME TO LINK FAMILY MEMBERS.
I do not mind transferring memorials to others and do not require you to jump through hoops to do so, but please don't delete the memorials after I transfer them to you and re-create them so they will be in your name, if it happens again I will no longer transfer memorials.
If you use my photos please credit the photo back to me. My photos are not to be used on other sites similar to Find A Grave. Photographs of persons posted by me to memorials should be credited to Herlocher & McKnight Families www.helenmcknight.tribalpages.com
If I transfer a memorial to you that has photographs of mine on it, please DO NOT leave a note on the memorial saying that others cannot use photos on the memorial without your permission, I transferred the memorial to you, not the photograph.
As for my family tree, I am researching Herlocher/Herlocker/Herlacher/Horlacher (and its other variants) Other names I am reasearching, Alford, New, Lawrence, Barner, Heckman, Kirby/Kerby, Young, Walling, Herd, Gist/Guest/Gest, Cowart/Coward/Cowherd, Garner/Rogers, White, Kennedy, Perrin, Calvert, Cannon, Lowe, Egger ... far too many to list.
If you visit a memorial without a flower, take a few extra seconds to leave one, everyone deserves to have a flower.

 | Adam Barner The stone at Barner Cemetery is actually a cenotaph. Scott sent an email to edit to try to get them to designate it as one.

 | RE: John Hammonds Thank you for your response and I am sorry for the mis information- I have an Uncle Cletus that is still living in Morton- My sister has been in contact with him about finding out more information on my fathers family- My uncle has no memory of parents since they were both gone by the time he was 3 or so and the children were raised by the grandparents or at least that is the information I have been given. Again I want to thank you for your time and all the information.
