Note: I am doing random corrections of memorials with no last name. Nothing personal; I mean no offense. Thank you.|
Please let me know if any of my memorials need correction. If I've made a duplicate it was accidental and I'll gladly remove mine if you let me know. For corrections, to add additional information please use the Edit tab on the memorial.
Please, please, please -- Don't scrape headstones or use shaving cream, chalk or anything else to "enhance" the inscription. Regardless of what you have been told it does not wash completely off and causes long term damage. There are other ways to get a good photograph without harming the stone. And even though it's sad, some markers will never be legible.
I do NOT link to "burial unknowns"; however I will make appropriate notes in the bio field. Otherwise I'll gladly make family links.
If you would like to use my photos please ask first. I will almost always give permission as long as photo credit is given to the Find A Grave memorial.
Many thanks to all who have helped me along the way. I hope to be able to pay it forward.

|margaret hall||RE: William and Mary Phelan|
I'm hoping that William is my Great Uncle. I can't get a death certificate until 2021 (75 year embargo ). Birth year is correct. He has one grandchild (mid 80s) left in Ireland. It would be good to get all information I can while she is still around!
Because he lived in Detroit it is more difficult to get the naturalisation record. I think it is out of state.
I need to pin him down to a place in Ireland before I can be sure it is our William.
His parents were Daniel Phelan and Margaret Heffernan. Transcripts haven't got her surname right each time but very near so it looks very promising.
|Oliver Barrett||RE: David King|
My source was my family. We knew that David was Percy C. King's brother and that David King and Percy C. Crosby's father was Percy L. King and their mother was his wife.
Who do you have as David King's father?

Thanks for the correction. Even if she's not my direct line, it's good to have them all connected.

|Michael Pallies||Gustave Markunson|
Thank you for catching my mistake. I wrote the last name on the wrong line and you caught it. Thank you!
|Grant H. Collar Jr||FAG 163905930, Gladys Clydeen Merritt, 1922-1927|
This 5-year-old girl never married, therefore her maiden name IS her last name. This is indicated by her maiden name and last name, Merritt, being written in italics (by Find A Grave software protocol).
Thank you i have deleted all of them. I have no idea how that happened but do appreciate you letting me know.
