|I am interested in learning all I can about my family. This includes the good qualities as well as the dreadful, for I have come to understand that those choices made by my ancestors have assisted in making me the person I am today. |
My family comes from many European countries. I can trace my family into the Royal lines (aunts and cousins). Many of my ancestors, upon their arrival to the New World, settled into the hills and mountains of the United States. Hence, my family can be found in almost all of United States.
Most of the memorials that I have on this site are my family and I do not want to transfer the ownership. I do however have memorials in the Portland Cemetery (MO) that are not any relation, if you are family to these memorials please request a transfer.

Hello! Melissa was my mothers aunt. My mother is 91 years old and lives with my husband and me. We have been going through old family photos from the early 1900's. We have some on the ancestry.com site. Would you happen to have any more photos of Melissa or her sister Mae? We have a few of Bruno and I believe we have one of Alma but would love any photos that anyone would like to share. Thanks for your time. Deborah

Hi! The cemetery where she is buried no longer exists as a separate cemetery. It has become a part of Waldheim Jewish Cemetery. I am working to consolidate all of the Waldheim listings. I am hoping that you will move your memorial in this cemetery to Waldheim Jewish Cemetery here:
In your memorial please add to the burial location/plot that she is buried at Gate 125. The Gate Number is how each of the previously separate cemeteries is now referenced. If you have other burial information posted (Section, Lot, Row, etc.) please leave that posted and just add the Gate Number.
If you would like photos of this burial, the contact information for Waldheim Jewish Cemeteries is below. I do take volunteer photos here once I have the full plot information (gate, section, & row).
Waldheim Cemetery: (708) 366-4541
Online submission: http://www.waldheimcemetery.com/SiteContent/Locate-Family-Grave/
Part of the reason for combining all of these cemeteries into one listing is that (1) they are all next to or across the street from each other; (2) they are now all under the ownership of one company which has consolidated them; and (3) in order to eliminate the search of more than 10 cemeteries for a Jewish burial in this area.
If you have any questions regarding this information, please let me know. Thank you for considering this move to make finding graves easier. Ace

Thank you very much for linking my Great Grand parents William L and Annie Lee.
|Tracing Our Families||William L Griffin|
Hello. I noticed that you created the memorial for 2 of my Great Grandparents William L Griffin #32797778 and Annie Lee Griffin # 24248718. I would like to link them together as well as there children. Would you do this for me or would you transfer them to me? My Grandmother is Bobbie Griffin Chapman. Thanks for your time and all that you have done on Find A Grave.

Susan, I sent edits for Hazel and Glen and am wondering if they were received.
Thanks for your note! I agree- the middle initial is listed several times as D. In investigating further I pulled up the actual 1900 census record (where it says "Jewell", as per Ancestry's read), and it doesn't really look like "Jewell" to me but I can't tell what it says, frankly. Doesn't look like "Granville", but perhaps the census taker just misspelled or misunderstood the name. I am now pretty convinced it must be Granville, bc it says he's 1, and DOB is "December 1898" which matches Granville.
Do you happen to know whether Granville's middle name may have been Jewel or Jewell? On the 1900 census, there is a 1 yr old male living with his parents, but named Jewell. I would think it has to be the same person (same age-- it even says born in December on the census record), but I have not seen Granville J Andes or J Granville Andes anywhere.. and there are no other records of a Jewell Andes that I can find..

I noticed on Find-a-Grave for Martin Hazeltine Haldeman that you did not have a date of his death. My records show that he died June 12, 1928 in California.
