I was born in a small town in Nevada and I was not raised by either of my parents. My mother died when I was 4 and my father worked all over the state in the construction business. Not knowing much about my family, I developed an intense love for genealogy and have been researching my roots for over 30 years now.|
Find A Grave is a valuable resource to learn more about family. I hope I am able to help others with information I put in the biographies here. Feel free to use any pictures I've posted. We're all here to help each other and I'd like to thank everyone who shares their time and information.
Good luck in your research, too!

My photo looked very similar to yours, so I didn't post it. It's a pretty stone. I've always like that color. If I remember the next time I go out there, I'll stop and visit. I just got some flowers and flags, so will try to leave one there.

I was back in the West Ridge section at Woodmere in Detroit, and took a photo of Elsie's new stone. I remember you said you were going to take a photo of the new stone, so I haven't posted mine. Let me know if you want me to do so, and I will as soon as I can.
|Paula Frichtl||RE: Royal and Gillespie Cemeteries|
you are very welcome and I was glad to find the name. The Gillespie Burial Ground memorials are super and so glad you added them to Find a Grave. The best way to save the old cemeteries, so many have disappeared. I noticed you have a photo request for Smith Cemetery in Jefferson Co IL----I have a cousin buried in the same cemetery and in one nearby. Planning a drive over there soon, but Ohio County is first on my list
I sent you an email. Please let me know if you received it.

Hi Verna, She is my great uncle's, Thomas Jefferson Ritchison, wife.
I show that Thomas and Mae had eight kids. Is that what you have?

I noticed that you maintain the memorial for Frederick K. "Fred" Reeves, #59348764. Are you related to the C. G. Reeves family of Madison, NE?
Thanks for catching this. William should have been connected to Bernice Lydia Ritchison insteal of her mom Mae.
Thanks again and happy hunting,
PS are you related to the Ritchisons? I am.

|Cindy Moores||We are probably cousins|
I sent you an email, I am sure we are distant cousins. I was hoping you had more info on our family.
I also found Anna Marie's father on F A G. He is #86285999 if you would like to link her to her father. You have done amazing work on this family-thanks for sharing so much!!!
|Jenny Hicks||William Hicks--Hicks Cemetery|
Thank you for posting the pictures of the Hicks cemetary. My great, great, great, great grandfather is buried there. I live in Indiana and are now considering visiting this site to see his grave. Do you have any other information about accessibility of the cemetery?
