Bio

I started out just responding to photo requests for Mound Grove Cemetery in Independence, Missouri. The cemetery was established by the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints in 1904.

I found myself walking up and down the same rows over and over hunting names. I then decided I would take a certain section, record the names, come home and check to see if they were listed. If not, I would go back and get a picture.

Then I found out that Jackson County Genealogical Society published a book in 1997, with the cemetery assisting with information, which I could purchase.

So now I am taking a section at a time and in some cases re-doing my photos.

I am happy to transfer memorials to family; just let me know. Plus, my photos are for public use should you wish to copy them.
