Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am an Endicott on both my mother's side and my father's side, so I am particularly interested in the Endicott line. My other lineage includes many Hons and Clevelands, from in and around southern Illinois and Indiana, though it does seem that these two branches had many persons who lit out for Arkansas, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico and California. That pioneer stock were adventurous souls!

I occasionally locate and photograph other headstones in cemeteries in White County, Illinois, and try to accommodate photo requests if possible. I also enjoy linking parents and children whenever I can.

I am happy to transfer any memorial to closer relatives at any time. You are free to use any photographs I have posted on the memorials, but please give credit. Thanks!

RE: transfers
Thanks again! The maiden name for Myrtle was Blakley. I will update that on the memorial for others as well. I agree that it helps tremendously to have those maiden names.

Inquiry Only
Lastly is only an inquiry for information. Do you have any relation or information regarding Thomas W. McDaniel (#124359172)? I've discovered that he was the 2nd Husband of my Aunt Sarah Anna. Like Emma who was briefly married to an Endicott, I have no real information about her, but see you do have a memorial for Thomas with information listing her as his wife. I've not found a memorial for her, but wonder if you know more about her/them. Thanks!

Thank You!... and...
Thank you for the transfer. I appreciate it, and hope we might find some common history to share later.

In the meantime, I have some other questions/requests for you as well. I apologize for the length of these messages, but since you but thank you for taking the time.

Would you mind transferring the memorial for my Uncle Tom Cain (#126248954)? I went to create it for him and saw that you already did! Thanks!

Also, I seemed to overlook a mention of Clarence Edward Jordan's wife, my Aunt Myrtle. Would you mind a transfer of her as well (#112094624)?

Thank you again! I have another inquiry, but since it does not relate to transfers, I'll post it separately.

Quindry Headstone Request
Alphonse and Augusta are my husband's great grandparents. They are not buried at Mount Pleasant Cemetery but at Burnt Prairie Cemetery. I do have a pic of their headstones.

Ruth B. {Slocumb} Gaston
Many thanks for the inquiry about Ruth B. Slocumb, 2nd wife of Erwin Washington Gaston. Before I accept your suggestion "Smith is maiden name" do you know who her parents were and where she was born in Illinois?

I have a recorded Illinois Marriage License for Erwin W. Gaston marrying Ruth Slocumb on November 1st 1855 in White County, Illinois. But at this time I am not completely sure who her "Slocumb" parents are either. It is believed Samuel & Polly [Beck] Slocumb.

Look forward to hearing from you. I normally would send my inquiry through an email and not post a public message, but don't have an address. ~ George Gaston

Jordans and Endicotts

I was just wondering two questions--1) are you related to Clarence Edward Jordan? (Memorial #112094496). He is my uncle and I was hoping to have him transferred into my care unless you too are related. If that's the case, then greetings cousin! and thank you for creating the memorial.

2) Do you have any knowledge about the marriage of Emma Susan Jordan (my aunt) to a John Endicott? She was previously married to Charles Summers, and I show she married into the Endicotts on May 4, 1904 in Wabash County. She married a third time in 1910 in Posey County to Louis Bachman, and died in 1914. I have very little information about her (C. Edward's sister) and wondered if you've come across her name in your research.

Thanks much for all you've contributed.

Endicott Pictures
I would need your e mail address to send the pictures. I couldn't find any other way on Find A Grave to attach them and send to you

Thanks for the information. I am working slowly on Big Prairie Cemetery. My internet here is really slow.

RE: Betty Endicott Geibel
Thank you for the info. I just wish we could know her whereabouts. She doesn't even know her dad has passed away. Just an FYI, her dad, Harry Geibel, is buried at Fairlawn Cemetery in Vandalia, IL. He passed away December 10, 1992.
