I found Findagrave.com when I was searching for my Uncle. I not only found my Uncle but I found a friend in Donna Bonning who has taken the time to photograph each stone (including my Uncles) at Craig Colony. (Craig Colony being a residence for people with epilepsy) More about her on my Uncle James Burrell Memorial Site.
I love genealogy....BURRELL, WISE, SHORT, WOODBECKS, BREWER, WEAVER and COLE. Email me if you are a member of the above families. In pursuing genealogy, I have to remind myself of what is written in Titus 3:9......"But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguents and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless."
I will visit your loved ones Memorials when I can. If I sponsor one of your loved ones, please, please, do not think you owe me by flowering my family and friends or by sponsoring someone in my family. All I ask you to do is spend some time each week with your loved ones who remain on earth with you because even though we use Findagrave for genealogy and visiting our loved ones that have crossed over, we need to focus on our earthly loved ones and make memories with them before they leave us too.
Also....it's Memorial Day weekend....Remembering those who served and gave their lives for us to be free....would you also take the time to honor the living Veterans by taking the time to shake their hand, buy them coffee or a dinner.....or send a Thank You card....anything...to let them know that we honor them while they are still with us too.
Remember: And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain. -----------------------------------------
