I am belgian living in the verdun area of france , I can offer you my help in locating graves in this area , I live about 10 minutes from the Romagne sous Montfaucon cemetery of lorraine --for the moment i am making pictures of all the graves situated in meuse argonne cemetery , as well as in Hamm luxemburg ---Once they re finished I intend to go to Saint mihiel , and St avold in france to do the same with all the graves there ...During my travels I try to do the smaller cemeteries on my way through france and belgium .. Sometimes adding a complete graveyard isn t possible , as often there are headstones missing due to replacement---but I always try to get them done as complete as possible , so please forgive me if sometimes a few pictures are missing --because it isn t always possible to do a return journey ...
Sorry to have to ask, but... ***Please don't take my photos and claim them as your own work***
Allow me to post them.

 | George Woodall Thank you for posting the photo of my great great uncle on find a grave. I have been trying to find a way of obtaining a copy of his headstone. I intend to show the find a grave post to my dad and his last remaining uncle who is a nursing home. It will be the only time anyone in the family has seen his final resting place. Thanks again.

 | Abel J Hughes, Joe Henning, and Adolph Weinheimer Soilsista!
I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for providing the photographs for Abel J. Hughes, Joe P. Henning, and Adolph Weinheimer. They were all part of the same company from the 355th Infantry and died days apart. I appreciate your help.
Regards,
Bryan Anderson | | | | [View all messages...] |
