I'm retired, the mother of one. I enjoy cooking, reading, travel, live theater and genealogy. I have roots in EBR, Ascension, Livingston, St Helena, Tangiphoa, East Feliciana and Washington Parish Louisiana. Clarke and Marengo Co, Alabama. Amite and Pike Co, Mississippi. These ancestors all migrated from the 13 original colonies. I have several lines who were in America before the Mayflower. The Bergolds arrived from Darmstadt, Germany in 1839. My current number of direct ancestors in the American Revolution is 7, and also 7 direct ancestors in the Civil War. (all in the Confederacy)
I would like to thank everyone who has left flowers for my Mother, Marie Jean McIntyre Bergold. That is very kind of you. *************************************************

My PRINCE line settled in Marengo Co., Ala., abt. 1830 and divided their time betw. there and Tuscaloosa many many years. Abigail Banks Dennison Las Vegas, Nv. | | | SD

 | Bailey and Margaret Dees Thanks for doing the memorials for my distant cousins in the Dees/Deas/Deese/Dease family. The were the parents of Dixie Dees Gammage, a teacher, world traveler, and wife of Grady Gammage, President of Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, and later Arizona State University in Tempe, where I did some graduate study and discovered Dixie Gammage Hall, named for Dixie Dees Gammage. | | | Abigail Banks Dennison

 | Andrew Sparks 1920 - 1989 Kathy, I saw your message regarding Andy Sparks, husband of Olive Ann Burns. According to census files I found on ancestry, he was b 1920 B'ham, Ala.; d 1989 Atlanta, Ga. His parents were Andrew H. Sparks and Frances Marie Sparks. I don't know his mother's maiden name. I would check into these facts and dates before putting them on FindAGrave.
