Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been drawn to cemeteries for as long as I can remember, having often played among the old tombstones at Oxbow Lakeside Cemetery while growing up in White Lake, Michigan.

If you'd like to, leave a flower for my Dad, I'd really appreciate it, please & thank you! :) His 25th Angel Day is December 10, 2009.

Since moving to Los Angeles in 1988, I've explored celebrity graves as a hobby and along the way have been just as moved by the neighboring "civilian" headstones that surround and outnumber them. I have been a member of The Hollywood Underground since March 1998.

I run the GrandViewMemorialPark.info website in order to keep the public informed about the ongoing closure/lawsuit story happening there in Glendale, Calif. I'm happy to take photos of graves for anyone who can't get out there in person, whenever the gates open for court ordered visitations. Special thanks goes out to fellow graver Linda Mustion, who has worked tirelessly to record over 6,000 memorials to the Grand View FindAGrave page.

Adventures in Grave Hunting is my cemetery-related blog that might be of interest to you, too!

My first contribution to Find A Grave was in August 2000, in honor of my grave hunting buddy Denis Svoboda.

Jean Harlow is the grave I visit that touches me most, as far a celebrities go. My website dedicated to her is The Platinum Page. I also ♥ The Ramones ♪♪ and my teenybopper crush ♪♪ Andy Gibb.

Franchot Tone means a lot to me, too, because I'm writing his biography.

Bela Lugosi
Have you ever seen the picture that was taken of Bela Lugosi after the funeral home completed his preparation? There is a picture of him laid out in his casket wearing his dracula suit.

RE: Michael Jackson's Grave
Awesome, wonder if anyone is ever going to be able to take a picture if it? Did the guard say anything? Does anyone know what the sarcophagus looks like?

Michael Jackson's Grave
I am to understand that the family decided NOT to place him in that marble tomb. He was buried at Forest Lawn, but no one knows exactly but the family, those who were invited to the funeral, and the funeral home.

I would doubt any of them would "spill the beans" to the general public. It's probably best they never do.

RE: Hello Lisa!
Thank you so much for posting that photo and the explanation below it of the stain glassed windows near Michael Jackson't crypt. That was very nice of you to do and it gives us fans some sense of being able to be closer to Michael. In my mind, I still can't quite picture where he is buried and I have visited that site many years ago to see Red Skelton and Clark Gable (I have a few relatives and friends buried at Glendale Forest Lawn.)

John Knott
Hi A while ago you photographed Louisa Shippee's grave marker for me (in Valhalla). Thank you. You noted that she is buried next to John Knott. He was her first husband. I need dates for him. I was wondering if you photographed his marker at the time? If so, would you please send me the dates so I can make a page for him, and then would you please post the photograph of his marker? Thank you. Judy jczervas@earthlink.net
