Adeline Jane Richards
I suspect that Adeline's father was William Eadus McGinnis son of William McGinnis and Margaret Matilda Howard, grandson of George McGinnis UE and Anna (Nancy) Staring and great-grandson of Timothy McGinnis (Teady Magin) and Sarah Kast UE

RE: Jean Richard
Ooops! I made a bit of a mistake, on my ancestor list I just sent in my note, I wrote "PE Island". That would put them somewhere on the Atlantic coast - a few hundred mile error! I meant, "PE County".

RE: Jean Richard
Hi, we appear to be fifth cousins! My ancestor was Owen Richards, brother of John Richards, Jr. I can image that my GG-Grandfather, John Colburne Richards and his sons, who lived in and around Ameliasburg in the 1860s and 70s knew your ancestors in the area.

Do you have info on Jean Richard (b. 1721)? I have done an extensive amount of research and - my guess - have about as much as there is about him and his forebearers, but there is always more to discover and different descendants may have different bits of knowledge. If you send me your email, I'd be glad to share.

My line is
Jean Richard
Owen Richards
William Richards (lived on PE Island)
John Colburn Richards (lived on PE Island)
James G., migrated to Michigan then to Chicago
James A., b. Chicago
James A.K., b. 1922 in Los Angeles
James L. (me, grew up in L.A. now in Kentucky.)
James P. (lives in the bay area)
James C. (newest clan member, 4 yrs old)

I assume you are a descendent of Jean Richard (no S). You can see from my name I am also as descendent. Which of his children do you descend from?

RE: Conrad Alles
Cathy, You are very welcome. Thanks for your nice message about
your ancestors. A lot of people suffered from what we now know as
clinical depression and there was no way to treat it. I do not know if
demetentia can be hastened by traumatic life experiences or not. Of
course those experiences do impact lives in a deep way. If you go to
this cemetery, it is on Rt. 441 just 0.9 mile west of Rt. 350. They are
on the far right near the ranch house. It was 56 out today but there
is still ice and snow in places in the cemetery
Best regards,
