New Hoy Family Member: I would Love for you to Visit my new memorial for John "Doc" Hoy and leave a floral tribute. I found his very sad story in an Omaha Newspaper from April 1899. I have no idea what Hoy family he actually belongs to, but have adopted him to mine, nevertheless.

Thank You,

RE: Green Transfers
Sorry to hear of your oops, but I know how those things can happen. I was about done with one of these recent exchanges and bumped the wrong key and it all disappeared so I had to start over and remember what I had written, no backup for my brain.
Alma Stites is up to you. I do feel closer to her because of the many visits over twenty years than I do to my biological grandmother, Elvera, who died eighteen years before I was born. I'll add a picture to Alma either way.

Thanks and a question
That was easy. Bios updated and pictures added. I always love the memorials that have lots of information that helps put the pieces together. It feels good to be on the giving end. Thanks for your help.

I have some questions regarding Charlotta Lohmueller Rademacher Fass 1859-1956 and her first husband, Evert Rademacher, and I wondered if you would at least take a look at my research. I'm asking first because I think I found his burial in the Fairview cemetery in Talmage and if I'm right I'd like him linked to Charlotta. My Mom doesn't remember much from her mother's side of the family (the Rockemann's and Fass's), but she thinks I'm on the right track.

RE: Green Family
I took a look, looks good. You found a lot.
Only missed the two infant deaths, William Ephraim 1887 and Robert Elsie 1892. Would you like the married names of all the daughters?
I can send you more on Malinda, here or in an email? She was the fifth child of twelve.
Or if I have her transferred I could add her info myself?

RE: Green Family
Thanks again.
I've already received a reply from Jerry and getting ready to message Dolores.

Charles Edward would be a cousin, once removed, from Charles W. -IF- there turns out to be a connection. Jerry only has info on Charles W. and Nora's children.

RE: Green Family in Nemaha County, NE
Thank you for reply.
My grandfather Charlie Green 1893 actually had three marriages, Elvera his 2nd and Alma his 3rd. First wife was Verla Ogle Smith 1899, they divorced in Colorado. She remarried Fred Johnson and died in that state. Her side of the family claims her middle name was Opal and her marriage record has Olga.

I don't know about maintaining a memorial, never done it before, but I might be interested.

I will contact those other contributors.

Green family question
re: Memorial# 66760767
Charles W. Green 1853-1897

Hi, Kathy,
Thanks for your years of work on behalf of families.

I wondered if you had any information on Charles and Nora Green and whether they are related to other Green's in Nemaha county. Elvera Rockemann Green is also buried in Sheridan cemetery, married to Charles Edward Green 1893-1967, who are my grandparents.

Merry Christmas,

Mercy Alice (Bailey) Martin
I did the research this December in Lincoln, and Ashland, Nebraska for Mercy Alice (Bailey) Martin.
I first went to the Ashland cemetery, Ashland, Saunders County, Nebraska. She is buried under the name Alice Martin, in the Old Section, Block 22, Lot 4, with her mother, father and brother Elmer, Theodore Bailey. Peter W. Bailey paid for the plot 19th December, 1885, the day before his wife Mary Ann was buried there.
I also picked up Mercy Alice (Bailey) Martin's Death Certificate in Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska. Mrs. Mercy Alice Martin, born March 18th, 1851 in Morgan County, Ohio. Father stated to be Peter Bailey. She was the wife of John Martin. (Note: She married her deceased sister's husband.)Mercy Alice (Bailey) Martin died in Milford, Seward County, Nebraska on August 30, 1938. She was buried in the Ashland Cemetery, Ashland, Saunders County, Nebraska on September 2, 1938. (Note: Her mother's maiden name is on her brother's Death Certificate at Mary (Wiley) Bailey, born August 21st, 1812.Father's name is Peter Bailey, born January 26th, 1915.)

Hoy, Charles & Ruth
Dear Kathy,

While memorializing alumni of Wakefield High School, Arlington County, Virginia, I found you had left flowers at Captain Robert E Hoy's memorial. His YoB is consistent with the Robert Hoy, Class of '63, for whom a memorial donation was given to, as were donations for 'Chuck Hoy' Class of '60 and 'Ruth Hoy, staff. 'Chuck' was in the Class of '60 list with the middle initial 'H'.

I have not found data to allow me to memorialize Chuck/Charles and Ruth in F-A-G. I was wondering if you had any data on either of them, so that memorials may be added.

If I can be of any assistance, please advise.

Thank you for all your Find A Grave efforts and consideration in this matter.

Always, in Find A Grave brother/sisterhood,
