I have been researching various family lines (Tallman, Cook, Peterson, Bouton, Lounsbury, Peterson to name a few) since about 2001. |
During that time I have visited many cemeteries during my research. While there if I have time I try to photograph as many stones possible and eventually I put them on Find A Grave when I have time in hopes they may help someone else with their research.
I appreciate everyone sending edits to the memorials I have entered. If you have addition information on a memorial please click edit on the page and submit a correction or addition.
If you have relatives in my listings you would like transferred to you please send me a message and as long as I don't have a strong attachment to it I will gladly transfer it to you.

|Family Historian||Jane A. Earls memorial|
Can we get Jane's death date changed from 1983 to what it says on the stone, 1883? Thanks, from a GGG grandchild. Stephen C. Law [AKA "Family Historian"]

Hi Russ. OK, I will leave my memorials up then. Many of many Rensselaerville Cemetery photos came from a visit last September. (I live near Atlanta now, so it's tough to get up there!) I still have a few to post too.

Hi Russ and all,
This grave is definitely CARY Lawson. Cary is Samuel Cary Lawson, my gg grandfather. His wife is Ruth Sutherland Lawson who is buried beside him. James Lawson (my grand uncle) is their son and Watie is his wife. Do you need someone to be the manager of these 4 graves? I would be happy to do it.

I may be mistaken but his stone looks like Cary Lawson not Gary.
Looking for information on Samuel Cary Lawson wife Nabby Coffin Lawson 2nd wife Ruth Sutherland Lawson.

The year of death has been mistyped, should be
1890 not 1830. Thanks for changing this.
|Brent Walker||Alfred Hulbert and Susan Hulbert|
Thanks for moving them. I feel better now that they are in the right place. I just attached the grave markers for both Alfred and Susan so you can check it out if you would like.
|Brent Walker||Ellis Cemetery-Broome, Schoharie Co.|
Hi Russ- I am sending another message concerning your listings of Alfred and Susan Hulbert in Ellis Cemetery in Schoharie Co., NY. They are not in this particular Ellis Cemetery (located on Mallon Rd.in the Town of Fulton). They are actually in another Ellis Cemetery located on Broome Center Road, Town of Broome which is also listed in the Find A Grave site but which currently has no names listed in it. I am planning on adding some memorials to it based on my recent visit. I would suggest you remove Alfred and Susan from their current listing and add them to the cemetery on Broome Center Rd..
|Brent Walker||Alfred Hulbert|
I just added a photo of Alfred Hulbert's grave marker that I took when I visited the Ellis Cemetery on Broome Center/Potter Hollow Rd. a few days ago. I am concerned, however, because I did not find any of the other people that are in that Find A Grave Ellis Cemetery listing. I believe that you have placed the memorials of Alfred and Susan in the wrong cemetery. As far as I can tell there is no Ellis Cemetery listed on Find A Grave site that contains the people in the Ellis Cemetery that is on the New York, Schoharie Co. GenWeb site. I believe the best solution to the problem would be to create a new Ellis Cemetery with the names from the N.Y. GenWeb site. If you are interested in doing that I do have other photos I would be happy to add.
