Bio and Links
Bio Photo I enjoy doing genealogy as time permits. I've found numerous graves of my ancestors that someone had posted. I probably will never get to visit their graves, but "you" have provided that privilege to me. When I enter a memorial, I like to think it is someone's kinsman/ancestor they are looking for.
On my memorials, I try to add the parents' names, if I can find them; also, if I know where they were born, it certainly can help with tracing ancestors; I've sent that info into contributors and they didn't add it...don't know why.
I especially like to find veterans (all wars) to honor them and will add a flag, or floral tribute, especially if they don't have one.

I welcome additional information to a memorial, or a correction. I usually don't edit or be judge and jury over whether to add it. Use the white Edit tab at right top of the memorial. I will transfer a memorial if you are a relative according to Findagrave guidelines.
My Family names I research: Vance/Sinclair, Yarbrough/Ellis/Young, Montgomery/Posey, Barnett/ Reynolds; Yandell/Sparks, Lee/Durham, Ward, Powell/Weaver and on it goes.

NOTE: I appreciate the person who posted that we need to look at our 'profile' page (top right) "Edits" to find requests for amendments to memorials we need to make for them.

I'll do that, was tired and never got all of them done I took. Will get right on it! Weird they never added his name, the children died first if I remember right, then the Rev., the Jacob Yetter is on one side, but she is listed as Curtis. So I'd think he'd be there for sure. Most of these records were from the stones, so if he wasn't on one, that may be why he wasn't listed. Luella

Hi, I'm not sure either if Rev. Curtis is buried here, but would think he would be, since his children are there & died before he did. If you'd like I can add the main stone to his memorial. Luella

Thank You for The Message
Hi - thanks for the nice message. It's a good idea to post the picture of the section of the cemetery that is identified as the burial plot and row number. Not sure if you saw it - Find A Grave posted my pix on the Allenville Cemetery page of the gravestones that are stacked in the back of the cemetery next to a tree. You can see the pix by scrolling down to one of the last pictures posted for the cemetery. Those cemetery pictures were taken at the beginning of the summer when I was out there to fulfill another photo request. It's sad that the gravestones were just stacked up next to the tree without any record of where in the cemetery they came from. I am glad to be of some help in your research. Take care!
