Doreen McGowan
death date for Darcus Huddleston
The death date was apparently transcribed wrong. Her stone definitively shows death as 1886 instead of 1856. She is also listed on 1860, 1870, and 1880 Census records with Husband Stephen
Willis Huddleston.

Thomas Johnson
Hi Mollie,
I see that you took the headstone photo at Galilee Cemetery in Smith County, Texas.
I interesteaded in finding out if
Thomas Johnson
Born: 1 August 1890
Death : 19 Dec 1963
He has as any other family members buried their with him?
Does this cemetery have any records of there internments?
My great grandfather is Thomas Latham Johnson born in Lousisana in 1890 after he and my great grandmother divorced. I cant find any records on him. I know he was remarried and had other children and moved to east Texas thats all.
Thank you, Kimberly

Mollie: I mistakenly duplicated your memorial, if you will go to #133362793, & transfer my info to your memorial, I'll delete mine.

Thank you.

Louisa Powell
Thank you so very much for the January 26th message that Louisa "Lou" Sarah Dyer Powell's grave was now located in Whitney Memorial Park rather than Towash because of the building of Lake Whitney. I have edited the cemetery and asked the contributor who recently established a duplicate memorial for Lou as "Lou S. Powell" in Whitney Memorial to delete her memorial. My delay in responding to you was caused by my knee replacement surgery which has kept me from my genealogy studies. I appreciate your work for findagrave very much!

RE: John's parent's
be nice to try to find out, The Jones, Ham's, Yerby's, Brinkley's in Freestone co. all inter married. My grandpa Andrew Jackson Jones gave the land for the cemetery Hopewell then moved on to Wise Co.,TX and did the same. I have the deed to Hopewell. Are you related to anyone in these cemeterys? Oh yes the McDaniel's and Cloer familys all left AL and came to TX. I love Find A Grave. and Ancestry.com I did find a William T Yerby in Al. with a son born the year John William was born.

Thank you for looking. All the bodies were moved to Whitney cemetery. I was hoping they would have put up new markers when they moved the bodies. I appreciate your time & effort.
