NOTE Please pray for my son Danny who has recently been diagnosed with SCLC which is a rare and fast growing type of lung cancer. His doctors are only giving him a few more months. He is fighting a hard battle right now. UPDATED 5.27.13

I was blessed to be one of the eleven children, three sons and eight daughters, born to Thelma "Burke" Brady and Lewis Brady. Our family was always a close one and still continue to be today, even after the death of Daddy and then Mama. We still continue to gather at the old "Home Place" where the Brady Cemetery is located in Hope Hull, Montgomery County, Alabama. I came across the Find A Grave site not long ago and am so glad that I did. It brings me comfort to visit the site as often as I can. I am the mother of five sons, but two are no longer with me now except in spirit and in precious memories. Their memorials Jonathan Mark McCain and David Lucas McCain are also in the Brady Cemetery close by their loving grandparents and other family members including my niece Karen Marie Brown who was as dear to me as any daughter could ever be.

- Just a Note -
When I leave a flower on a memorial site, it is placed there especially for that particular loved one and is chosen with care after reading their memorial, and with thoughts of their families who love and miss them in mind. While strolling through the on line memorials I also place flowers for some who are not as well remembered as many others are. Each one is placed there because it comes from my heart. I do so much appreciate those who remember my loved ones in this special way also. It helps so much to know that others care.
Although I have not been able to leave as many flowers on the memorial sites of others as I would like to, I do leave as many as time permits, trying to add a few each day. If you have someone special that you want remembered, please leave me a message and I will put them in with my "Very Special People" and visit as often as I can. It would be an honor and a priviledge to do so.
Thanks to all the wonderful people who have contributed their time and effort to making the Find A Grave site so special. A very special thank you to those who have left memorial flowers for my loved ones. It helps...
