Bio and Links
Bio Photo I did a lot of genealogy work many years ago... then just up and quit for no particular reason. Then I discovered findagrave and – ta-da! – here I am getting back into my family's history. I'm amazed at how many relatives I found on this site, and the chance to add more information to the memorials for future generations is exciting. Now I have a few thousand photos to go through, scan and get posted so everyone will know what our ancestors looked like.

I enjoy peeping in the virtual cemeteries of other contributors, especially if they have unusual graves/tombstones they've found. When I go to cemeteries I always hope to find at least one great grave. It makes the visit more interesting.

Are we related?
Helen Eunice Ewing was my great-grandmother. I am trying to figure out how we might be related.
Thanks!

Hi Kathy and Mike,
As it turns out he was buried in Lancaster. I was there over the weekend and took the photo. Thanks again for your help.

RE: Vivian Doolin
Her death certificate lists that as her burial locale?? Her husband was Lawrence and he didn't died until 1971.

I appreciate your efforts, Viv has sure proved hard to track down over the years.

I am so sorry that I gave you the wrong maiden name for these two. It is not Gray. That was their mother's maiden name. They were the children of Elizabeth Gray and William Jasper Neece. Sorry about that...I stayed up too late that night, I guess. I just noticed my mistake when looking back through some emails from way back.

RE: re: Christopher Crisp
Good job! The same thing has happened to me several times. The records would reflect that there was a stone, and I couldn't find it. The workers would come out and with much poking and prodding would find the stone. I'm glad you found this one, as I had spent over an hour looking (on a Sunday when the office is closed). It was starting to get dark and they were going to be closing the gates . . . so I had to leave that project. La Ramada always has its challenges (along with Sequoia, Del Ivy, Crescent, and other old plots in Inglewood). Still, it is my favorite cemetery. I even own a crypt there for future use!

Thanks so much for sharing your experience with me. I am really glad someone found this one.

Best Regards,
Bonnie
