From Sweden, born in 1956. A father of 4, with music as a main occupation. I have had this interest in graves and where they are located as long as I can remember. I encountered Find-a-grave on the Internet almost by accident and visit the site frequently ever since. And one of my hobbies have become writing bios and filing famous persons for the FAG. The cemeteries I prefer to visit, are Norra Begravningsplatsen (Northern Cemetery) in Stockholm and Östra kyrkogården (Eastern Cemetery) in Gothenburg, but the most beautiful one is probably Djursholms begravningsplats, near Stockholm. It is really unique and worth a visit. |

Charlie Rivel, the clown, is buried in a cemetery in Cubelles, (Catalonia, Spain).
See this link (in spanish):
Maybe in Gothenburg is buried his son, a famous clown too.

|bob dennis||Famous or not.|
Peter, I totally agree with you. It seems that unless you were a coach in the U.S. Little League or a minor politician in South Dakota they are not interested.
My reason for asking you is that I was thinking about creating a record for Photo/Journalist Rory PECK who was killed in crossfire during the Russian (YELTSIN) uprising. He is buried near me and I have photos of his burial place. But I may now rethink.
|bob dennis||Martin Adler.|
Would you consider putting Martin forward into the "Famous" category. I remember him doing work for UK television, and was well known. Someone who puts himself into dangerous areas to bring us the news at first hand should be always remembered.

....är det ingen som vet vart han finns? :o
