Ever since I was very young, I've picked and pawed through old cemeteries. I love history and cemeteries are great history lessons. Here in the Akron, Ohio area there are many old cemeteries, Glendale being one of the oldest. Many notable figures of history now rest at Glendale and I have listed hundreds of them here on Find A Grave. The famous include: early industrialists, politicians, musicians, entertainers, etc. I have also listed thousands of the "common" people from this area. Also, I have covered some other areas around Akron such as: Cuyahoga Falls, Tallmadge, Mogadore, Hudson, Ellet, Barberton and Northampton Township. I will be listing other cemeteries and areas soon.
TRANSFERS > In most cases, I do not do transfers for these reasons: People ask for a transfer to add more infomation. But when I check back in a year or so, nothing has been added. Also, I find that many people get onto Find A Grave and "play around" with it for a few months and then lose interest and go on to something else. Then when I find additional information to add to a memorial that I had transfered to them, I e-mail it and never get a response and it's never added. So basically, I'm done playing games with these people.
If you have a relative that you'd like tranfered, e-mail me. I may do it. But in the future if I find more info for the memorial, I expect you to work with me and add it. If you don't want to do that, then leave the memorial in my care so it will be updated as more info comes my way. If this sounds harsh, I'm sorry, but I've had a lot of these people since I've started. | |

 | Guy A Owens Mr Ed: Have noted with great interest Your posting of Guy A Owens Sr (5143505) - I am tracing the the descendents of my 5th Great Grandfather David Litz. Guy appears to have been the son of John Wilson Owens and Elizabeth (Butler) Owens. If this is correct do You know where John Wilson Owens is interred ??? I have posted Elizabeth in Clearfield (Mt Joy Cemetery)
If You concur with this, would You consider linking Guy to his Mother ???? I will supply all info. In fact if You would like I can transfer Elizabeth to You, as it appears You are a direct descendent.
For what it is worth, Guy and I share the same love of Woodworking. I come from a long line of woodworkers (woodbutchers)......

 | Korean War Tell your father that I understand the forgotten war. I just finished reading the book "George - 3 - 7th - Marines" by Dr. Jim Nicholson, of Greenville TX. It is a brief glimpse through time of a group of young Marines who fought and died in Korea. | | | Cemetery Haunter

 | Laubach/Henry Hi! My husband is a Laubach descendant and I've been working on genealogy. Just wanted to tell you how much I admire your photo of the Henry Family Plot with all the names pointing to their markers. You did a really nice job on that photo. I had attempted to do something like that on one of my family plots, but I didn't do nearly as nice a job as you did. I'll have to go back and give it another go. Thanks for your work, great job! | | | Debbie Seem Roepcke
 | RE: Woolcutt-Wolcutt Memorials That makes sense, what I thought was someone held button down and it duplicated the name. I have had that happen myself I was just curious. Thank you for replying. Did any of your Woolcutts marrying into Sim line? Again, nice car wow

 | Woolcutt-Wolcutt Memorials Hello-
Stow Street Cemetery Do you know why the Woolcutt-Wolcott buried at this cemetery has double Memorials for my Woolcutt family line? If you look at the cemetery index every single relative has a double Memorial by the same person. I thought maybe typo error but then when I looked at the cemetery index, all were double Memorials, I was just curious why?
Thank you for your time-
Great car in your profile!

Date of Birth: 8 Nov 1891, Sardis, Harrison, West Virginia, USA

In the photo that you graciously provided of the headstone memorials for the family, Joseph C. Cunningham is the brother of Bonnie. His memorial is #43496960. If you would not mind linking him to their parents, it would be greatly appreciated.
Father: Memorial# 104821789, William Elmer Cunningham

Thanks again for all the wonderful work that you do!
