When weather and time permit, I like nothing better than to visit cemeteries, photographing grave markers and monuments. For the past 30 years on and off, I have researched extensively in Clermont, Hamilton, and Warren Counties in Ohio, and Kenton County in Kentucky. |
Permission is granted to use my photos. I am more than happy to provide them and help other researchers however I can.
*If you are new to this site, please read the FAQs and follow the guidelines. Make sure you search before adding a listing, and never post a photo you do not have permission to use (such as from another site). Let's work together to eliminate duplicate listings and prevent copyright infringement. Keep findagrave.com fun!
**About FLAGG SPRING CEMETERY:
All gravestones were recorded in June 1988 by Mrs. Maxine Fisher, Ms. Beverly Hafemister, Mrs. Joan I. Hughes, Mrs. Mary H. Remler, Mrs. Alma A. Smith, Mrs. Nancy L. Stern, and Mrs. Margie Thomas. Our thanks to their hard work!
Each burial that they found to have a marker now has a memorial. Burials done since June 1988, and many, many more burials WITHOUT markers are still being added, but each requires a little research, so it is a work in progress.
This information can be found in the Hamilton County Burial Records, Volume 2, Anderson Township Cemeteries 1800-1989 by The Hamilton County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society, 175 pp., maps, surname index, 1990.
I am happy to transfer any listings which are not my family!
**ABOUT SPRING GROVE CEMETERY:
Spring Grove is incredibly beautiful and always a joy to visit, but it is also extremely large. Second in the nation only to Arlington National Cemetery, it has over 700 acres, of which 450 are developed and in use. There are roughly a quarter of a million burials there. Many of the Lots are family Lots and have a central monument surounded by individual markers for each person.
I hope you have visited their website at springgrove.org and used their Locate a Loved One page. You can search by name or location to access the burial records. These contain a wealth of information and are definitely worth a look. Expanding your search to include everybody in the same Lot is a great way to find other family members.
Good luck and let me know if I can be of any help.

John Hair, pensioner listed on 1840 census. My daughter's lineage to John Hair was proven for NSDAR membership in 1986. Others have proven their lineage. my find-a-grave #47182967. Thank you for sharing the tombstone picture. I could not find a picture in the 1980's and am pleased to add this to my Hair records. Thank you for all you do for find-a-grave. Betty Andrews

Yeah it would help me to get some off my pile that are out of state....I went back and made the corrections you suggested and found a bunch of things in the Ohio Death records on line....I will transfer Wesley and Reuhama to you...Would you want their children?? I think I am going to hang on to Joseph and Mary S and see if someone will take theirs and their daughters as well...I did the work on her as she is buried not too far from here but she isn't any relation either...I found 4 or 5 like Greenbury Overley who I think is buried the same cemetery but all I got is birth and death years and possibly place of burial....Just let me know which ones beyond Wesley and Reuhama who want me to transfer and I will.... The Overleys were related by marriage through two of the Granddaughters...
Thank you, I'm glad I could help! I wish I had found Findagrave.com before my parents passed away, They would have loved to add their memories!! If you have any Davidson questions, I'd be glad to try to answer them!

I will make your corrections you suggested but the monument looks like it says 1917 not 1911.... I did some work here on a Warman lady that seems to go back to Reuhama and her husband and when I made checks the memorial were transferred to me...I am not a relative not do I live anywhere near the cemetery where they are buried.... If you know someone who could take over the memorials I would appreciate it....

Hi Jo, I don't know how but apparently I had Deborah Ann linked to her paternal grandparents. Thanks so much , I think I have all correctly linked.
