|Kathy Phelan||RE: George Bender photo request|
Thanks so much for the photo. As much as I can tell, George was a brother to my great grandmother, Mary Malinda Bender Tuttle. I'm not sure who Hugh might be. The children of David and Rachael Bender were: Michael, Catherine, Elmira, Sarah, George, Mary Malinda and Samuel. How or why Mary ended up in Indiana is a mystery. It was my understanding that the Benders had a business - I think lumber - here in Indy, but I'm not real sure. Great grandma was a Quaker and small in stature. I have one picture of her which I posted on Find A Grave.
I'm not discounting Hugh as a sibling of George's - I just don't know at this point.
Thanks again for your help.

I got an email stating that "I couldn't find a marker for Mary Renner in Section 41 Lot 0 Space 746.
Jenny E. #47958692". Can you contact the cemetery office either in person or by phone to see where the headstone and grave might be?

Thanks so much for taking the time to look up these graves for me. I just recently found this family connections--YAHOO! I think the Patterson's are cousins. Thanks for volunteering.
