Was he a mayor or doctor in Covington? Would you like me to transfer this to you?

Esther Northfield
I'm sending through your edits for Esther Northfield, but leaving her place of death as Minneapolis. The Minnesota Death Index states she died in Hennepin County, and her short obituary had her living on Johnson St NE, Minneapolis

Smut's half sister is my Mom. She remembers he drowned. I have a portrait of him too. I will send it to you.

What happened to Ida's first husband Mahlon? I can't find any information on his death.
Thanks, Debbie

Hi Judy,
Thanks for your email.
My mother, who is still alive, is Henry Lynn's sister and lived in the same house with her until their mother, Ida, died. She said Henry Lynn was a girl. I do a lot of research and have found the census information to be at the mercy of whomever is home at the time of their visit.

Hi Judy,
My mother is Henry Lynn's half sister and she has always told me Henry Lynn was a girl. The census can be wrong because not everyone is home when the census taker is there. Do you have any pictures of him/her? Thanks, Debbie

Find A Grave FAQ's (Rules)

What is Find A Grave?
Find a Grave's mission is to find, record and present final disposition information from around the world as a virtual cemetery experience.

Memorial contributions to Find A Grave must fulfill that mission - registration of the final disposition. If the memorial contribution corresponds with only the main mission, then the memorial fulfills its purpose as part of Find A Grave's mission.

Find a Grave memorials may contain rich content including pictures, biographies and more specific information. Members can leave remembrances via 'virtual flowers' on the memorials they visit, completing the virtual cemetery experience.

Find A Grave is a resource for anyone in finding the final disposition of family, friends, and 'famous' individuals.

Burial Unknown

How do I add a memorial when I'm not sure what cemetery they are buried?
This is similar to adding a memorial for cremation. Do not create a new cemetery which does not exist in order to add these memorials. Use the Family and Friends link and select the Burial:Other and then Recent Death, location of body unknown option. Location of body unknown is used for recent deaths where the disposition is not currently known. Final disposition must be determined and updated within 30 days.

Hi Judy, I've added a notation mentioning who Elizabeth's parents were. I didn't locate a memorial for either of them, otherwise, I would have linked them. Since Lizzie is a relative of yours, if you'd like me to transfer the memorial to you, please let me know, I'd be happy to. Regards, Nadeen
