Laura married into my wife's family and I haven't really looked into Laura's tree. Sorry I couldn't be of any more assistance.

|Nancy Arnold Thompson||RE: Eva Perkins|
In 1940 James and Ada are living in Camden County. They have a daughter, Edith, age 5 living in the household. I was of the opinion that this was probably Eva. I find no mention of Edith in any subsequent obituaries.
The granddaughter Eva Perkins, age 15 (b.~1925), living with Charles and Minnie Boren in 1940 is a mystery. James didn't marry Ada until about 1929. As best I can tell, all of Ike's children by his previous marriage are living with him and Ada in 1940.
In 1930, Ike and Ada's household included Roy, Ivan and George (children from his previous marriage) and Bonnie, 6 months old. There is no Eva.
A few houses away, in 1930, Charles and Minnie Boren's household included son Henry and granddaughter Eva Perkins age 5.
Is it possible that James and Ada had a child together while James' first wife was still living? Lucy Paradine Gibson Perkins had a son, Ivan in May 1924 and another, George about 1926.
I'm not sure which picture you are referring to? What's the name because I don't recall a Minnie Jones. Sorry!

I'm sorry. I got caught in the middle of a big project and haven't gotten around to Eva Perkins Lambeth. I'm saving your message and will try to see if I have any answers when this project is complete.
