Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am currently researching the Ellis and Reeder lines in my family. I am particularly interested in finding my Great-Great-Grandfather, David C. Reeder (b 1849). At present, I cannot find his date of death, where he died or his burial place. If you know anything about him, please leave me a message.

I regret that I have had to remove my email address from my profile, as it seems to attract memorial corrections from people who either are not members of Find A Grave, are looking for free genealogical help, or people who just want to argue for some reason.
My health at present just isn't up to daily debates and requests.

Also - please do not use the Find A Grave "Suggest a Correction" as a way of reaching my e-mail. I'm sorry to be so mean, but I am not a professional genealogist and it's really disrespectful to send me a correction as a way of asking a question or to request a memorial transfer.

Please leave a message in here for me and I will try to get back to you as soon as possible. I try to check in at least once a week

If I have added a memorial for your loved one, and you would like it transferred to you, kindly leave the memorial number of your loved one plus their name as it appears on Find A Grave; as well as your member number and your relationship to the person you would like transferred.

Florence (Find A Grave #42252782) was my father's cousin. I would like to manage her memorial so I can connect her to the rest of the family. I'm still trying to locate the burial of her husband who died in 1918--would like to link them.

Thank you for the work you do for Find A Grave.

Reeder's
Hi Trisha: I received your message, but no, I'm referring to John B. Reeder born 1807 Pennsylvania, isn't that the one your related too? His youngest brother Abraham, born 1828, Pennsylvania is the one I'm speaking about. Son's of Jesse Franklin Reeder. Maybe your related to another John? I know John's a common name to the Reeder's. I'm interested in the connection to the Brady family, as just about all of these families have used the Brady name in naming their children. Do you know who your John's father was? I look forward to your reply, I'm just trying to find more people researching my Reeder line. Ken Rood

John B. Reeder
Hi Trisha: I'd like to thank you for your Reeder family posts to Find A Grave. I've been researching the Reeder's for about 13 years and your John B. Reeder and my Abraham were brothers. When I started, I just researched my direct line, but I've since expanded and I now follow all of Abraham's siblings. Abraham's first wife died shortly after their only daughter was born and I've spent years trying to find where she died and where she's buried. I'm new to find a grave, at least as a member, maybe this site will help. Thanks again. You may contact me off this site. Thanks again Trisha. Ken

RE: Ollie McElroy
Thank you for transfering my Great Grandmother Ollie's memorial to me. I was showing my Grandmother this website yesterday and she was amazed at being able to see her mamma & pappa gravesite online. It's been years since she's been able to visit in person. Thank you so much!

I hope it's not to much to ask, but would you mind also transfering James L. McElroy (ID# 9551964) and Paul L. McElroy (ID# 9551972) to me also. My ID# 47949327.

Thanks again for all your help and I hope you have a Happy New Year!

Officer Koger
Hello Trisha,

Thank you for posting the photo of Officer Koger. Would you happen to be related? There is a memorial mass coming up for KC Officers and wanted to inform relatives of Office Koger.

Thanks

David C. Reeder
Its so crazy right now but perhaps you have already looked for C.David Reeder. People seem to have names backwards in census or is it headstones? Just a thought!

David C. Reeder
Hi Trish,

You are very welcome. I'm not related to the Reeders that I know of, the closest name we have in our tree is Reed. I just happened upon your profile and saw that you were looking for your Great-Great Grandfather and though I'd do a quick search. I really like doing research and know how annoying it is to hit a brick wall when you're looking for someone.

I looked up Jay County Genealogy and found this site: http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~injay/ . I didn't see any Reeders, but I thought I'd let you know just in case there is something helpful.

We have our own family mystery I've been trying to solve. We have a picture of my Great-Great Grandmother's nephew and on the back it says that he disappeared in 1921. The only place I have been able to find him is in the 1900 and 1910 Census', other than that there's just nothing. If you ever happen upon a Cash Sutton.

Good luck finding your Great-Great Grandfather.

David C. Reeder
Hi Trisha,

I saw that you are looking for information on David C. Reeder and I did a quick search. All I could find was someone by that name in the 1880 Census. I think it's him, because some of the information on the Census matches people in your Virtual Cemetery. Here is the address for the site I found the Census on: https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/MZ1Q-PQP. If you have an account free/paid on Ancestry.com you can see the actual record for free here: http://search.ancestry.com/browse/view.aspx?dbid=6742&iid=4243496-00422&pid=22856296&ssrc=&fn=David+C.&ln=Reeder&st=g. I'm sorry I couldn't find any more information.
