I have been involved in genealogy for many years and love helping others fill in the missing pieces. I am also a photographer and I am happy to take requests for photos of headstones, plaques, etc. in the Portland, OR area as well as in the towns outside of Portland. Please don't hesitate to contact me.|
One favor: Please refrain from adding photos to my memorial pages without checking with me first. Thank you!

Bert was my wife's uncle. Even though he was one of several brothers related to her father, she feels that his memorial should be connected to Bernice.

Johanna - my ancesters are related to the Land-Dockery family. My great-great grandfathers line, patriarch Jacob Tucker Parker was married to Mary Polly Dockery's sister, Margaret "Peggy" Dockery. They are the daughters of Matthew/Mathew Dockery. I just discovered Lemuel Land's Find A Grave memorial so could not have known of your work before this.
In 1975 (I was young then), I made contact with Elizabeth Land (b. 1905), the daughter of Thomas Hick Land. My great-grandmother had referred to Thomas Land as "cousin" in postcards between the two and I thought Elizabeth might know the connection. She was in her 70's then and between the two of use we tracked back to Lemuel Land and Jacob T. Parker and the Dockery sisters.
I'm going to review my genealogy research for another purpose, but if you are interested in any of the Land family history that Elizabeth Land Smith shared with me, I would be happy to pass it on. Please contact me direct for that.
THANK YOU for posting Lemuel Land and Mary Polly Dockery Land to Find A Grave!

Thank you so much for the photos. You found them all, and so quickly.
Bless you for all you do!

No thanks is necessary. Please pass on to her it was my pleasure. I did send a photo of Bernice. I believe it's better than the one that was posted though it's not straight on.

Hi! I was at River Bend today, and once again searched for her..without success. I was looking for Kinney family graves, thinking she may be listed on them, but could not locate them. I'll be out there again soon, and will give it another try.

Hi - I found this information on Ancestry.com. If it is inaccurate according to what you know, then of course please do not add it.

I live just outside Carmi. And, yes, it's sad to see so many that completely blank or ruined. Glad the photo did help some!

Johanna, I'm sorry that more of the words could not be made out on George's headstone. There is also a saying at the bottom that is small and I cannot tell what it says. Hope this helps some though!

Thank you for the wonderful grave photos of the Trump family. I did not know his parents' names. His son Floyd also died in the same car accident in 1970 and I was told by his uncle he was buried with his father. I see no other Trump name. Perhaps there was no truth in that fact or perhaps he had no stone. The photos are awesome. Thanks again.
