I just love walking through cemeteries photographing headstones as there are usually so many interesting ones. It's amazing how much information one can get from these headstones, especially the older ones. I believe in immortalizing what we can of these stones for the future and let others know that at one point in time, these people lived. |
Please remember to ALWAYS thank the Photo Volunteer for their time in locating your family's grave and taking the photo for you. Many people are becoming very rude in not thanking those who go out of their way to help them and many requests go unfulfilled because of it. Remember we are in this together to help each other and a simple Thank You goes a long way.
Feel free to use the photos of your loved ones resting place for your genealogy research and your personal family tree.
I WILL NOT DO ANY EDITS FROM AN EMAIL OR FROM THE MESSAGE BOARD, IT WILL BE DELETED AND THE MEMORIAL WILL NOT BE UPDATED.
PLEASE, PLEASE SEND ALL CORRECTIONS, EDITIONS, LINKS, ECT FROM THE EDIT BUTTON (THAT IS WHY IT IS THERE) ON THE MEMORIAL. IT WILL SAVE SO MUCH TIME IN SEARCHING FOR THE CORRECT MEMORIAL AS THE NUMBERS THAT ARE TYPED IN ON EMAILS AND IN THE MESSAGE BOARD ARE NOT ALWAYS GOING TO THE CORRECT MEMORIALS.
REMEMBER TO INCLUDE WHERE YOU FOUND THE INFORMATION FROM (i.e.: familysearch.org, census, IDS (Illinois Death Stillbirth index), family bible, etc) as I do credit the person giving the information. I have been getting many SAC with INCORRECT information for the memorial, so please include the information for cross reference. Thank you.

Find A Grave Memorial 122015245. Thank you for photographing my cousin Judy's grave. We met only once, about 1950. She died in a car wreck in 1952, but I did not remember the year. Her dad is buried in the same cemetery. You've helped me punch a hole through a genealogy brick wall.

My husband is James Ross Bradford, Jr. He is the son of James R.(J.R.)Bradford and grandson of James Milton Bradford. Melva Bradford Collins is J.R.'s sister making her my husbands aunt. I hope this is enough information. If it is not, please let me know.
|Ray Gustafson||Thank You|
For photographing my two Gustafsons.
I looked but did not find them.

Thanks for the photo. Those on the tiled wall are tough to photograph. I too had a photo but couldn't read it very well. Thank you for your time! Carol

Your welcome. I'm not related and thought if you were making suggestions for corrections that you were at least distantly related
