Bio and Links
Bio Photo Originally from northwestern New Jersey, I have lived in Central Texas since 1970. I'm retired and enjoy my children and grandchildren.

I have been with Find A Grave a few years and have made many friends all over the world and in my home area.

We have a group of FindAGravers in the Central Texas area that come together once a month for lunch and a gabfest. All members welcome, so please drop me a note to be added to our list for notification of time and place.

Enjoy being able to help others make family connections and any other information I can find for them.

My own personal heritage lines: Winter, Randolph, Kostenbader, and Osmun.

My favorite animal pals are Rascal, Tigger, and Little.

Please feel free to contact me at my e-mail address or "edit" tab on a memorial, instead of posting requests on my member page.

You may use my pictures for other projects, but please give proper credit when doing so.

Kindly do not place death certificates or newspaper obits on any of my memorials as I will request that Admin removed them. Rather, send me an "edit" and I will be more than happy to add the information to the memorial's bio.

Info in the flowering portion of my memorials will be treated in the same manner.

Thank you!!

Coffey Cemetery Coryell County Texas
I was wondering if you might know why Coffey Cemetery is named Coffey Cemetery. I found many Dosseys buried there, but no Coffeys. Also noticed the old McCallister farm near by. Also wondered about Jack Butler for whom the road is named after. Also the road, Winter, is that your family name? I live just up the road over Coryell Creek, near old rock Baptist Church. Very beautiful country down Winter Road. The blue bonnets are beautiful in the cemetery this time of year.

RE: Cause of death/DC's
Thanks so much for your help! I completely understand why DC's wouldn't be posted- I just found the memorial for a Professor listing his exact cause of death and it was shocking. I can only imagine how traumatic such a discovery could be for loved ones. I hope I can help be a productive member of this community, so feel free to advise me/correct me! Again, thanks so much.

RE: Eschol Taylor
Thanks so much! I will be adjusting Eschol Taylor's picture and others as needed by this evening. Would you happen to know whether or not information on the reason for death is proper to put on memorials? There are some that mention circumstances and others that do not, and was wondering if there was an official/unofficial policy on that. So sorry for my ignorance, I'm just getting started here.

RE: Eschol Taylor & Professor Hoffman
Yes! His full name was Rudolf Edward Hoffman. He was a pupil of Carl Ambrust, Hamburg; a Student of Angelo Casiraghi; studied at the Royal Conservatory at Leipzig (1897-1900); and a Student of Carl Beving (1909-1910). He was head of Baylor's fine arts department from 1900-1909 and 1910-1919, dying while in office. He also taught Music, Piano, Pianoforte, Pipe Organ, and Theory of Music while at Baylor. I'm very familiar with the archives, so that's where I get most of my information and pictures from.

RE: Eschol Taylor
Thank you! It was truly a tragedy. She died along with Professor Hoffman at Baylor University, but I can't seem to find his grave. Unfortunately, he may have never been recovered.
