Please use the new EDIT system when requesting factual updates and family links|
I do NOT require, nor should any member on this site require a source of information before processing your edit request. Generally I process all corrections sent to me provided the edit request appears to be reasonably correct. I will NOT however link to ANY memorial with burial unknown. Burial unknowns shoud not even exist on this site and likewise should not be linked to. This site is for documenting KNOWN burials...PERIOD.
Before you request a transfer of a memorial, ask yourself if you really need the memorial transferred. There is an abundance of information that can be sumbitted for correction on ANY memorial that exists on this site, whether managed by an active or inactive member. The new EDIT system should really negate ANY transfer request. And it is because of the new EDIT system that I will NOT transfer outside of Find a Grave guidelines. A memorial does NOT need to be transferred in order for corrections or family links to be done. And just because you are related to someone I or any other member have created a memorial for, does not constitute grounds for a transfer. This is NOT a site to build your family tree. Build your family tree on Ancestry NOT here!
If you would like to use any photo that I have taken, please request my permission first! I do not need credit, but I do ask that you respect my time and efforts in obtaining and editing the photos.
To request a transfer, please make sure that you submit your request by clicking on the EDIT tab on the memorial and then select Suggest any other correction or addition. Please make sure to state your relationship, reason for transfer and include your contributor ID.

|Anonymous||RE: #125692394 Elisha Taylor|
The 1860 census for the 6th Civil District, Coffee County, Tennessee, page 119 shows James b.~1797 and Isabell b.~1821 Taylor living with their children David b.~1846, Elijah b.~1847, Elisha b.~1847, John b.~1852, and Hannah b.~1854. I trust the information on the census over any info on a death certificate -- although I've found that sometimes the names are spelled in "rather interesting" ways on the census.

In the bio for Elisha Taylor, you give his father as M. P. Taylor -- that's incorrect, his father was James Taylor #14144490. His mother's name is usually spelled Evaline or Eveline, but Evelyn could be correct. It seems she usually was called by her middle name, Isabel. Her maiden name was Gaines. Elisha had a twin brother named Elijah, but so far I haven't been able to locate his grave yet. Elisha's brother John is my g-g-g-uncle.

Thank you for your reply (and Corrections) Chris! I will read the Q&A's so that I can prevent any future delays and so I can become knowledgeable in how to make corrections to my ancestors info. You happen to be the lucky one....my first time to contact anyone on Find A Grave. :-)

Chris, thanks so much for the headstone photo for Anna Eliza Price. I appreciate you making a new memorial page for her.

The children I have listed of Doc Brooks, also show up on Find A Grave with their memorial page but they belong to someone else, so couldn't go in and add them like you are supposed to do..
|Faye (Blackshear) Reynolds||Corrections to Mem# 122696423 & 122696445|
I have some corrections for you on Memorial# 122696423 for my grandmother, Mary Magdelina McCalister Brown's correct name was Mary MAGDELINE McALISTER Brown and she had another daughter that you don't have listed. Her youngest child (my mother) was Mary Louzela Rutledge Blackshear born May 31, 1914 died Jan 19, 1974 (Rose Hill Cemetery Memorial # 71956663). She married Jan 31, 1934 to James Melvin Blackshear born 5/25/1907 died 10/11/1967 (Rosehill Memorial# 71956574).
Mary's husband, Wade Hamilton Brown (Rosehill memorial# 122696445) was actually born in 1879, instead of 1881. He was listed in his families 1880 census, in Dickson Co, TN and that is the year his delayed TN birth certificate shows.
Thank you for posting their info as I didn't know what Block & Row they were buried in as I was only 14 & 15 when they both died.
|Gerri (Voss) Ward||Brooks|
I received you notice.. However, if I remove my memorial page on Heustace Brooks from Find A Grave, the information that I have provided on his family members that connects to him will be lost.. The other memorial page on him does not include this information. Where did Elmer come from?

Thank you very much for adding the photo's to the memorial's of Robert and Mary.
