I'm willing to photograph tombstones in cemeteries in N.W. Ohio. |
I've been doing genealogy research for over 30 years and have collected a large amount of data.
I believe that the original family data I have makes me the caretaker and not the owner. I'll gladly share what I have with others.
I have a REAL problem with others who are trying to build a mega list of managed sites.
TRANSFERS: With any Find A Grave memorial that I maintain, if you are a closer relative than I, I will transfer. If I have no connection and you have some connection (even friendship), I will transfer.

I must apologize. I made an error editing her maiden name. I think I put Bowen first and then sent you the name Bound to correct that! It should be BOUND! Too many Mary Peoples! :)

I understand your frustration. Ancestry has Morgan and Rebewcca birth of July 19, 1870 and 1880 census has Morgan as 1869 and Rebecca as 1871. I looked up on Rutherford Hayes Obituaries for and obituary on Rebecca and she is listed as Rebecca Hemminger for death June 10, 1902 and you can order her obituary through them also Ohio Deaths through Family Search.org has her death Jene 10, 1902 at the age of 31with birth year of 1871 with the age of 31 and the death date of June 10, 1902 the calculations say she was born June 10, 1871.sooo I tend to believe that Morgan was born July 19, 1870 and Rebecca was born June 10, 1871
Thank you kindly Jim - I will take good care of these memorials you were so kind to create for our family.

My source for the information on Gertrude Garretsson and her family was obtained from The Swedish Colonial Society. I went out on the website today to verify my info. I have not been on it for several years. It looks like they require a membership fee or donation now. At the time I used the site it was free. There is tons of information on the Swedes and Finns who came to America.
I will probably join ($45) because the information is reliable. They keep putting new families and adding information. A Dr. Peter Craig was the historian and genealogist who did the research. He died a year or so ago.
Mans Svensson Lom 1580 is my 8th great grandfather.

Just got lucky with this one. I didn't go to the cemetery to just get a photo for her headstone, but had taken photos of all the headstones in section A and am now getting them on put find a grave.
