I'm creating memorials to honor those who have completed their journeys here. I believe the Find A Grave burial registry helps us to preserve history and is an extremely useful genealogical tool. I especially love to hear from folks who have found a family member or friend through a memorial that I created, that gives real meaning to this work. If you have any corrections or additions to suggest on memorials that I have created, I will take care of them, usually within a week. If you want any records transferred to you that are not in my family, please do not hesitate to ask.
To my friends who have decorated the graves of my precious daughter, Tammy Jo Modglin, and my Mom and Dad, Dorothy Darlene Brown and Carmel Garth Brown, and my sister, Judith Ann "Judy" Brown, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your kindness is very much appreciated, as I decorate also for as many as I can, too.
I would like to have my Bowden family transferred to myself if possible unless you are one of my un-found cousins (which would be wonderful). William Bowden is my Grgrandfather & the other Bowdens are some of their children. These are all members of this family. William - memorial # 131218234 Henry - 131218168 Lydia - 134631251 Susan - 136410317
Hopefully one day, I will be able to connect more of this family. Do you know if the dates given are from the stones themselves or other records as a couple vary slightly to my records but I will see if I can discover where the discrepancy is later? Thank you, Elaine (Tanner) Culling
Question for you You seem to have left some sort of image for every single person buried in the DSH cemetery. This makes it almost impossible for me to find actual relatives of these people without clicking on every single link (people who might be related). Also, some of the images you have chosen reflect your Christian beliefs, but a number of the people buried in this cemetery were not Christian, so it is rather odd and jarring to see the Christian images on their findagrave.com listings. Any chance you could go through and remove your name and the images from anyone buried in the cemetery that you do not personally know or are related to??
RE: Joseph Wagner Hi Glenda, Thank you for the update. If you would like to transfer that would be ok. I've been working on my husband's Wagner family line in Ferdinand so I may have more updates to add. Have a nice day. Pat
