Oh, I see I misspoke. John G. Willis is the father of your Eliza and my Fannie. In the first message I accidentally said it wrong.

Yes, John G. Willis IS Eliza's dad. He is my 2nd ggrandfather. Eliza's sister, Fannie Porter Willis (Cunnyngham) is my great-grandmother.
Do you have a photo of John G. Willis? I have one where he is on horseback, but that is the only one.

RE: Mary Prudence Ham Kuykendall
I just sent the photo to you via email. We are related through Kuykendall, then I go back to the Willis family. We confered on one of those lines. Prudie's mother-in-law, Eliza Willis was sister to my 2nd ggrandfather, John G. Willis.
Got any Kuykendall or Willis photos?

Kent,
I am in the process of cleaning up the photo you put up for this gal. It has dawned on me that I'm not sure how to go about replacing it. I think I could just add it to her Find A Grave site, but then it would say I put it up instead of you. Would you like me to send the clean copy to you so you can replace it?

Regarding Mary & Martha Clark - They are twins born to John Thomas "Tom" Stephens (Memorial #36885634) & Nettie Eola Daniel (Memorial #53967625). Nettie died on 11 Apr 1920, just 2 weeks after the twins were born. There were 5 older siblings and, according to family, Tom didn't feel he could take on the care of the twin girls so he put them up for adoption. They were originally named Verna & LaVerne Stephens. The Clarks adopted both girls and changed their names. New birth certificates were issued in 1942 reflecting the Clarks as the birth parents. The twins became aware of their birth family - Martha had little or no connection to her family while Mary did make contact and maintained some sort of a relationship. I have a copy of her with 2 of her older sisters - Eola Frankie & Donnie Bell Stephens. This information was given me by Donnie shortly before her death. We are 1st cousins.

Are you a living descendent of the general. In somehow, some way. It is most important to our cemetery to find you and gain a memorial civil war creation style. Your thoughts.
