My interest in genealogy started when I was young and found a folder my dad had with notes on many generations of his family. What started with those pages of notes and a tin type of his grandfather has turned into a journey that has now been ongoing for over 30 years. I believe I have visited every graveyard/cemetery within a 40 mile radius of where I live and have helped hundreds get photographs of tombstones they might not otherwise have. When ever I am able to take a trip away from home I make time to visit an old cemetery. When in England several years ago I even got the owner of the bed and breakfast to drive along and help me look for tombstones. It was a great experience.|
And remember this: When chemists die, they barium.

Thank you so much for taking the time to photograph the headstone for Frederick Kielhorn. He was an Oregon State Policeman killed while on duty. My father is a retired Oregon State Policeman and he knew Mr. Kielhorn. Your time and efforts for those who have passed away is very much appreciated.

Thank you so much for adding the picture of Jessie's stone. I have the obit as well as death certificate and yet others in the family claim she is buried in another place with no proof.
You are appreciated so much to us all for your work on findagrave.
