Bio Photo "Freedom is not Free"

I am honored to create memorials for our WW2, Korea, and Vietnam war dead.

Fleet Admiral Chester W. Nimitz:
"They fought together as brothers in arms; they died together and now they sleep side by side...To them, we have a solemn obligation the obligation to ensure that their sacrifice will help make this a better and safer world in which to live."

*************************

I have recently completed a five year project traveling to Hawaii annually from the mainland to photograph headstones for all of our WW2 dead at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl) in Honolulu. I have added over 10,000 photos to memorials at the cemetery. Prior to 2008, few of the memorials had headstone photos added and I made it a commitment to travel their annually to finish this project which I completed in 2013.

Pictures with 3ADMG logo
Hello all,

You can find more pictures with the 3ADMG logo on the website www.36air-ad.com

This website is about the men who fought during WWII in the 3d Armored Division.
Under the tab names you can find the complete roll of honor.

Thank you for using our pictures with no reference to our website or even asking to use them.

Hi Jeff:

This is my father. I was very pleased to find him on this site. Thank you so much for caring so much. I noticed that my Mom (Lilas L. Rossi) is listed as a calculated relationship. I can tell you for sure that it is a real, documented relationship. Big Smile here. I even have their marriage certificate.
I have joined the group and as soon as my retired status feels real, I want to help more as long as I am a help not a hindrance. I have discovered that if the facts aren't verified, it can really muddy up the waters quickly. :*)

RE: Leonard McKenzie photo that you took
Hi Jeff, thanks for the note. I was confused when I started looking at the memorial and cemetery, but I eventually figured it out. I want to thank you for all your efforts in taking so many photos there. I figured that all of Maryland's casualties that are buried or memorialized there have had photos taken and entered for their respective pages. Thanks again, and sorry for my confusing messages last night.

Sgt. Martin Queeney
Sgt. Queeney is my uncle and I established a record of his grave before discovering your grave record of him. I would like to request that you transfer the management of his grave record to me so that I can consolidate the information on him in one record, remove duplicate records and relate his record to other grave records for members of the family. Thank you very much for your consideration.

Thank you so much, Jeff, for your labor of love in recording and memorializing the WWII Marines, including my husband's uncle, who was previously unknown to us.

Leonard McKenzie photo that you took
OOOPS again, I thought I had already sent this message, so you can ignore my previous one:

Hi Jeff, you took a photo of the marker for Leonard L. McKenzie in November 2013. (Memorial# 56125128).
The Find A Grave page says he is at the Honolulu Memorial, but I found no record of him there or in ABMC. Can you tell me what cemetery that photo was taken in (or where it wasn't taken?)?
Thanks,
Dan Phelan

Leonard McKenzie
Hi Jeff, I think I just figured it out. I didn't realize that there were two different memorials/cemeteries there, and that ABMC was maybe only for overseas cemeteries. I just read your bio and figured it out that way.
Thanks,

Thank you
Jeff -
This is amazing work, and I want to thank you for your effort and dedication to this work. My uncle was killed at Iwo Jima 15 years before I was born and I appreciate you doing this.
