Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a retired elementary school teacher and administrator. I am very passionate about genealogy and the history of Western North Carolina and Blount/Monroe Counties of Tennessee. I will be happy to share photographs from local cemeteries here in the Crabtree/Iron Duff area of Haywood County, NC.

If you have time, I would appreciate your paying a visit to the memorial for my brother David Edwards Nichols, Metz Cemetery, Graham County, NC. David passed away on February 17, 2012. He was an avid genealogist and took many photos of stones for Find A Grave, as well as located pictures of individuals so I could post them. I have many more to post because he worked much faster than I. He's in Heaven now, and knows the answers to many of the questions I still have about our ancestors--always a step ahead of me. Thank you.

David Edward Nichols

Dear Mrs. Roger's:

I would wonder if you would not know if David and Letitia Blalock are buried at Bethel Community Cemetery. I located them on Family History and Genealogy and found them as buried there. So have created memorial's for them. If you could help me to verify as I believe you do a lot of work in that area and might know just off. I would feel much better as I don't want to enter inaccurate information.

Thank you Mrs. Rogers,
Linda.

-His parents born in SC (per 1880 census)
