Hi .. I found this site by a mutual researcher sending me the link and found it to be a GREAT asset! I enjoy doing family research so much I started collecting all records, pictures and what ever on my surname NANCE, and other variations of spelling NANCES/NANTZ/NANTS ect... |
I would be glad to add to or update bio information for that individual or transfer ownership of the ones I have added
(If not my own relatives).
If I have put a flower on any NANCE/NANTZ/NANTS ect, I probably have info. to share .. ONLY ON THE NANCE SIDES. PLEASE SEND MEMORIAL # with request, I have put flowers on over 9000+ memorials. thanks :)
I get so tired of hearing people say they wont delete a duplicate memorial because.... (For whatever reason).. Per FAG rules.. "You should never deliberately create a duplicate memorial."!! THIS MEANS YOU TOO!! Even if you do have more information!! FAG has made it very easy to send in for corrections, I do it all the time.

Thank you Sonia for your prompt reply. We never got together very much with my Dad's sister. I have a vague recollection of their having a boy and a girl. If I find anything, I will let you know. Please do the same for me.

I am doing family research. My aunt, Margaret Ford, b 1920, married Wilbert Lee Nance, b. 1915. The 1940 census indicates they were living with Wilberts parents. They lived in the Richmond/Henrico County area. I know nothing of any children they may have had. I am trying to connect with my cousins. Perhaps you are the grand child of Wilbert and Margaret. I hope you may have some info you could share with me. Thanks, Art

Thanks for the heads up on the duplicate. I have deleted my memorial. Bobbye
|William Ream||James Franklin & Lillian Mae Anspach Ream|
So, if James Franklin Ream is your 4th cousin-4 times removed, I guess that that means you and I are related as James Franklin & Lillian Mae Anspach Ream are my great-grandparents!
So, how are we related?
Unfortunately, due to a computer crash last August, I am no longer online. Thus, it would be best to contact me by leaving a message on my Find A Grave member page at http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=mr&MRid=47081536
I'll try to get back to the library Fri. or Sat. to see if you replied. However, I can't promise that I will make it back then. Please forgive me if I am late getting back to you.
William "Bill" Ream

I got the help of a Nance relative to help me find the grave marker on the Nance Farm. I posted it with the memorial. There isn't much I can do about the duplicate memorial at Findagrave.
|Eileen Nance||George Washington Nance|
Hi Sonia, Thanks for sending me your picture too. I continue to search for more information, but am not having much luck. I wish I could think of other places to look for pieces of information. You have helped me a lot and I hope we can continue to exchange information in the future.
Write me anytime or e-mail me too at email@example.com.

I have moved this memorial to the Daniel Family Cemetery, Wheatland, MO. Thank you for the cemetery information.
|Jerry Owen||GW Nance, CSA|
I don't know where G. W. Nance is buried the clearest stone, that appears on both memorials, is in the Bethel Cemetery. But there is another GW Nance stone at Harmony.
What's your pleasure? I'll do anything short of digging him up.
Jerry W. Owen
If the other contributor will correct the spelling, I will be happy to add my photos to those memorials and delete mine.
|Sujava||RE: Mary Nance|
It does not have her name on it but you can tell from the footstone "M N". In the early 1980's a group from here in Henry Co made inventories lists of many of the cemeteries. Mary Nance was listed with the DOD on the memorial and "Aged 60 yrs". Mary Nance was the only one in the list with "60 Yrs". No DOB was listed.
Sorry the stone had been broken since then. Sad too....
