Dewey L Whitt
Hi Mary,

I thought you might like to know, your assumption is right. Dewey L Whitt is the father of Clyde Jr. Whitt. They were both born in Kentucky. Dewey is the son of Clara Whitt.

I'm hoping one of Junior's children will see this post and contact me. We can find no death certificate or burial place for Clara (great grandmother to my husband) and since Dewey lived in her house in KY until she died (after 1940), we are hoping perhaps one of his descendents might know what cemetery and where.

Janis Babb
Mary, I was glad to find Amanda Babb along with several other family members in Woodland Cemetery. However her husband is supposed to be buried there also, but his name does not appear. It is Peter Smith Babb also dying in 1899. Someone doing research on the Babb family took a picture of his stone and said it was in Woodland. There may be more Babb's in this cemetery and not listed. Could you please check on this fact and get back to me. Thanks, I am
