| Bio and Links | I have been doing genealogy research for over 50 years now and serving as a volunteer for the last 15+ years or so.
I have a limited interest in the San Diego County message board where I've assisted those with their queries and a broad, comprehensive interest in the Maricopa County (AZ) board, both found at Ancestry.com. I used to do similar work at the Arizona USGENWEB Query boards years ago, but somehow or another the site administrator "lost" all the queries that have ever been posted including the responses to the queries, so I don't work USGENWEB any longer. The loss of anyone's query and the attendent research that was undertaken to respond to the query needs to be protected for the benefit of all future researchers.
For those interested in one of the 5 branches of the PRITCHETT surname that my lineage represents (Samuel PRITCHETT - Maryland, Virginia, Missouri, Utah, Montana, Idaho, Arizona, California, Oregon), we have a family website at MyFamily.com. Please put in the wording that she was cremeated at Greenwood but her remains are not at the cemetery any longer. Volunteers keep going to the cemeter to look for her grave. The memorial is allowed, but you need to mention she was cremeated. Thanks.

What about the 1900 Federal census where it also states a 4th child named Ruth who was born in Nov 1891. That could be where the confusion is on the death of Winifred Clara born 12/22/1888.

Alma was my husbands grand Aunt. I knew Dovie very well. I never got to meet Alma, but saw many photos of her. Did you want to add the information from the 1940 Federal Census to her. Just one item... he was born in 1846 rather than 1850 according to the date on his stone (I thought there was a photo of it posted here before....and I also checked Arms Cemetery records) and according to the family history provided in Lois McClellan Patrie's "History of Colrain" (she probably got the birth date from the stone).
Do you have info that supports the 1850 date?

Birth date was Jul 9,1846 at Heath, Franklin Co, Mass. (This is the date given on the stone...see photo)

I went to City Hall yesterday to see if I could find out where Julia died but no luck. If she died here there is no death cert. for her.
