Bio and Links
Bio Photo The descendants of the old settlers, those who cleared the land and first upturned the wild sod to the sun, should see that the doings of those early years are fittingly remembered and recorded.
It was once remarked by a great writer that those who take no interest in the deeds of their ancestors are not likely to do anything worthy to be remembered by their descendants.

Please leave flowers or memorials on my memorials, I believe everyone deserves flowers, and I have a great family. Thank you in advance.
A BIG thank you to those who send histories, death notices, obits and links to add to the memorials. They are wonderful additions.
You may use my pictures and information for your family trees but I do like credit. This is all put on findagrave for your family trees because so many people have helped me with mine. Thank you.

Please read Find A Grave's Transfer Requirements before requesting a transfer "THE FIND A GRAVE GUIDELINES FOR TRANSFERRING MEMORIALS ARE: Spouses, Parents, Brothers and Sisters, Children, Grand-children, Grandparents, and Great-grandparents. Please use the "EDIT" tab to ask for a transfer BUT PLEASE do no ask for a transfer that is not within these guidelines and PLEASE STATE YOUR RELATIONSHIP TO THE DECEASED.
Putting requests on this site you will be ignored, and erased. Ignorance is not bliss it is just embarrassing for you.

For extended family members you can add
Virtual Cemeteries as we have done.

PLEASE USE the "EDIT" TAB ON THE UPPER RIGHT SIDE OF THE MEMORIAL TO SEND CORRECTIONS AND REQUESTS FOR TRANSFERS. Will gladly add any obits and will add links to family members. "

Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out On polished, marble stone.
It reaches out to all who care It is too late to mourn.

You did not know that I exist You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our heart contracts and beat a pulse Entirely not our own.

Dear Ancestor, the place you filled One hundred years ago Spreads out among the ones you left Who would have loved you so.I wonder if you lived and loved,I wonder if you knew That someday I would find this spot, And come to visit you.

Maude H. Howell
Her memorial number is 30016359. Her husband Willey Howell was a retired Army officer. He died on July 31, 1940 in California. I could not locate a burial place for him. Do you know if he is burial at Hillside Memorial Park also? Thanks for the help.

RE: Duplicate
21121880 is Anna Jaegar, which is a duplicate of 21121883, both created by you. 1883 is updated and correct. I can include all the names or maybe you could open the entire cemetery to see the duplicates. The memorials sent are Anna thru Henry Kasten. The Delta County Genealogical Society website is my source, and it has county records and headstone information in the same document. I still have to research the John Johnson in the photo requests, and whether or not John Henning Johnson and Henning John Johnson are the same person. I can also call you as I have an Escanaba phonebook.

Duplicate records
Good morning Barbara. Thanks for accepting most of my edits. The only thing left is the removal of duplicate and triplicate records. I see 55 so I will send you ten or so at a time. Would you please delete these records (all starting 2112) 1880, 1879, 1873, 1869, 1865, 1858, 1854, 1853, 1852, 1851 and 1850. Thanks....Jerry

51643861 Elizabeth Irene Cooper Plumlee
Hi! My name is Janice Bird and I was wondering if you have any information on this person or could tell me more about this profile. I am trying to connect the names and not sure if Irene is the same as Elizabeth Irene Cooper Plumlee? The dates under the name Irene looks like it says 1915 - 1937 and not 1987. I would appreciate any help I can get. Thank you!

Hello Barbara,
What a nice surprise! Thank you for the transfer! Also, I didn't realize until you had transferred this memorial to me that, without realizing, I had made a duplicate of yours... so will delete that one.
Happy Valentine's Day!

Darling at Evergreen
Ok, I think I figured it out...Jennie B. Darling was the wife of Dr. Orange C. Darling, he has a memorial here on Find A Grave at Evergreen as Dr. O. C. Darling. Jennie has two memorials, the one you created (that I sent you the edits on last night), and another one created by Michael Emett.

Thank you for getting to the edits so fast! Keep up the great work!
