Hope you remember me - from the Owen Riley family. I wrote to you once before, and I thank you for answering.
Now, I have another question. Owen's wife, Mary Daley, Fitzsimmons, Riley. Would you happen to know who her parents were?
I hope you can help me. Thanking you in advance,
Jacky Basl Wetzel
|Kent Gebhard||Sgt. Alexander McCoy|
Thanks for sending a link to his wife, Belle. It warms my heart to connect spouses that are buried in different places. (Especially CW soldiers.) I checked and found she is buried in her daughter's family plot; ironically, I live in Mpls- only a few miles from that cemetery.
I did find this and have sent it to the manager of Belle's grave and hope she posts it but thought I'd also post it here for you:
Mrs. Bell (sic) F. McCoy
DAR member # 20730
Born in Mecca, Ohio
Wife of Alexander McCoy
Descendant of William McFarren, Of Pennsylvania
Daughter of John G. Dungan and Jane G. Dungan, his wife,
Granddaughter of David D. Dungan and Isabella McFarren, his wife.
Gr.- Granddaughter of William McFarren and Mary Scott, his wife.
William McFarren, (1757-1826), served in the militia. He was born in Bucks county; died in Washington county.

Oddly enough, I bought some 1920s family photos of a Dungan family member from Mpls at a thrift store earlier this month and hope to return them to that family. I have located a granddaughter.
And I've not heard that surname before!
Happy New Year!

|Josephine Wagner||James Green Hughes, OS092b1|
There is no marker or headstone on the grave of James Green Hughes. We just were able to get the plot number. Sorry, we are of no help at this time.
Contact me if I can help,
