Melissa, I did some requests for you for some Ewings buried in the Sandhill Cem. in Dallas, WV. awhile back. There is a vet. plaque there for a James Ewing Capt. 4 Va Militia War of 1812 1773-1855. I didn't see a memorial for him on F.A.G. Maybe he isn't buried there, but the plaque is there by the other Ewings. I just wanted to let you know. I have the photo if you want it let me know. Hi Melissa! Good to hear from you again. I just added the photo of the gravestone for Remembrance Curl with the empty side for Emmaline to her page. Yesterday was a beautiful day for a stroll thru Hopeville cemetery as it had been a while since we had spent time there. Last year was such a hot summer and no rain which has taken a toll on some of the evergreen trees in this area so we can see there is work to be done. But still a lovely cemetery. | |
