Retired Air Force and a former military brat.|
I started photographing headstones when I found my fathers memorial and no headstone photo.
I am currently in the process of photo
documenting local cemeteries in the Knob Noster and Warrensburg area.
Please let me know if I have a family member and you like them transferred over to you. Also, please inform me if I need to make corrections or you have information you would like to see added to a memorial.

I was so happy to finally see my g-grand fathers head stone. He is the father of three daughters, two who lived to adulthood. One daughter, my grandmother is memorial# 35488808 Nina Williams.
After crossing the plains to move to Oregon, he and his wife Martha Maria Cody (Mattie) divorced.
He drove a team of horses for a freight company that traded with the Indians. Salina, Kansas, Castle Rock, Washington, maybe as far as Utah, also.

I added, sent, you the children's names of my grandparents, George and Harriet Short, buried in the Fairview Cemetery in Holden. Uncle Gloyd and his second wife, Millie are buried to the South of grandma and grandpa. Their daughter, Aunt Marie and her husband Tom, have their headstone set, but are still alive in Georgia. My father, Charles, passed away in 2004, unfortunately, my step-mother had him buried in Arkansas.

I was surprised to see your memorial picture
was wondering if you could take a look at the memorial #20938760.
This is a great In memory stone but I believe the real Leonard S Taylor is buried in Colorado
If you think that it is the same man it would be really great if you could post your picture to his other memorial
what a wonderful thing that the GAR did for him.
Thank you so much
