Would you be willing to transfer my uncle to me.
He's in Rose Hill Cemetery, Newburgh, Warrick County. He's my Dad's youngest brother. I just visited his wife in an assisted living home in Evansville, Indiana. My Find A Grave # is 47954981. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Hi, If you receive a rude message with "rules" asking you to delete or transfer a memorial check the senders list of friends and see if you are listed. Someone pretends to be a Find A Grave admin and asks you to delete the memorial. Once you do that they then add the memorial to their list. Strange and odd. I write this to you because I noticed you were listed as a friend. If he lists you as a friend he constantly checks your memorials.

Thank you for doing that for me. I don't know if I can ever get there.

Hello, you have a picture of the Sharon Cemetery posted on his memorial. May I ask if you went to the cemetery and do you know if there is a marker on his grave? Thanks

I wanted to let you know one of your photos has been stolen and placed on another site.

Apparently, this man has done this before and is doing it again.

Not sure that you have rec'd my requests for linking Mary to her family that I sent several months ago, so I thought I would list them here just in case.
Mary Elizabeth #15028067 can be linked to her parents-Bellfield #8345371 and Susan Matilda #83453750. She can also be linked to her husband John Buckingham #15028046 and their adopted son Fred #15028077.
Thanks so much for your help with this and look forward to getting my family linked together! Karen
|Jan Bos from Nijmegen, Holland||Pvt Thomas J. Mosby|
Pvt Thomas J. Mosby was a soldier in the 39th Infantry Regiment 9th Infantry Division. He was killed in Sicily in August 1943 during the so-called operation Husky.
He was buried in the temporary American cemetery GELA on Sicily in grave F-64-759, date of burial was 7 August 1943.
After the war his remains were repatriated and buried in a cemetery in the United States.
DO YOU KNOW THE DATE OF HIS DEATH ?
I am writing a book about this GELA cemetery, where over 1,200 men and women were buried, who were killed in Sicily in July-August 1943.
Can I have your permission to use the picture you took of his grave, of course you will be credited and notified when the book is finished
