Bio Photo After 32 years as a teacher, I retired from the classroom, but have not retired from the role of researcher. I am having great fun researching the history of my family as well as the history of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Please feel free to use any marker pictures that I have photographed. I would request that you credit the pictures to me and give the date so that anyone who is researching using your information knows the information. Sadly, we all know that markers become illegible and/or disappear.

Memories
Gwen,
Aunt Rodge was my sister 1st grade teacher, for a short time. My family stayed a while with Aunt Rodge and Uncle Rex as we migrated back to Memphis from Oak Ridge after the war.

My teacher during that time was Miss Kuykendal (sp.?). 4th grade.

My Dad and grandmother lived for a time in the little house behind the Presbyterian Church.

My parents are buried in the Yorkville Cemetery.

Fain family
Thank you for the info on this family. They were my husband's mother's family. I remember visiting in their home and he showed me the houses where he visited as a child. The article surely had many errors. I'm glad you wrote a correction.

You are very welcome for the transfers. I am always pleased to share any memorial that's not in my family with those who can add more information. Please just let me know if I have others you'd like to manage!!
