Bio

Reseaching the Frankl/Franks/Frank/Franklin family that emigrated to NYC in 1868.

None of the Memorials that I manage 'belong' to me and I will gladly transfer Memorials to anyone who is more closely related than me.

I do not strictly 'enforce' the Find A Grave family-first 'rule' either, nor do I bark out orders (about punctuation or otherwise) - its unnecessary and pathetic.

I have great respect for the 'row mowers' - they make my work so much easier.

I am also grateful to everyone who sends me edit suggestions, it's very thoughtful and helpful and great collaboration.

Not everyone shares this camaraderie.

A very very small unpleasant group of memorial 'owners' a handful or so, (they are not managers in the spirit of helpful friendly management) have recently reared their ugly heads - some obstructive some outright aggressive and hostile.

Sometimes I will respond in kind, sometimes I'll circumvent them and in some rare cases, there is one on going, I will simply send the screenshot to the ADL - which I can assure them will be more uncomfortable to you than any of you unpleasant behavior here, by magnitudes.

To the 99.99% of polite contributors - you are doing a great job, keep it up. Many of you are acquainted with me.

And although I manage less than 3000 memorials I have probably submitted more than 30,000 edit suggestions, a lot more and am well acquainted and collaborate with many prominent members

I regularly go to the fringes of my family tree to ensure that every memorial is as connected up as possible and that we avoid leaving anyone behind -

All of these remote memorials will of course be transferred to you on request, with no questions asked....because I can :-) and they belong in your hands rather than mine
