It's fine, things get mixed up that way often. I'm glad that someone your age is this interested in family history.

Most people that had photos taken that early (1884)would have been tintypes. Unless they were wealthy. The photo I have for Melissa was a tintype that I had made into a photo a few years ago. It was from about 1889-1890. I cropped her from a tintype of Melissa, Leorah (my grandmother) Jesse, and John (born in 1888). John appears to be about 1 or 2 years old. This is the only photo that is known to exist of Melissa.

She died at age 24, does the woman appear to look that young to you ? She looks so much older.
I don't doubt you or what it says on the back. It just looks like an older couple. Perhaps who ever wrote the names didn't know for sure and assumed it was them.

#108715361 The couple in the photo isn't Thomas and Elizabeth. It is Thomas and his 2nd wife. If you would please delete this photo, I would appreciate it.

This is not a photo of Elizabeth, it's the 2nd wife of Thomas Bond. Elizabeth was only 24 when she died. The woman in the photo, is clearly much older than that.
How does one go about deleting photos ?

RE: Paul Joseph Newport
Thank you for that information. I just found their marriage and on the transcript Paul says he divorced in 1948.

Paul Joseph Newport
Hi. I'm doing research on Florence Gertrude Gobin, who according to Vigo County marriage records, married Paul Joseph Newport, son of Edward and Cora, on June 9, 1938. I find them living together with her mother on the 1940 census at 419 S. 8th Street in Terre Haute. What I'm wanting to know is did they divorce and when? Florence remarried John F. Woods at some point (I can't find her second marriage, either) and died in 1991. They are buried in Highland Lawn. I'm wondering if you know when and where Paul married Anna M., and what was her maiden name? I cannot find a marriage record for Paul and Anna in the Vigo County Marriage Index online. Thanks for any help.

Photo correction
Hi Brayden. The photo you have for Flora Olive Fitch is not correct. Flora is my Great Grandmother and this does not look like her. I think it is Ernest Stewart's wife Olive instead.
Thanks

Your Family Pictures
Brayden, I just want to tell you how much I have enjoyed the pictures and personal notes you have added to Find A Grave. You have put so much work into this and I have gotten sidetracked reading some of the personal things as you have made it very interesting.

RE: Hiram Archer
Done! Hope you find Mr. Archer's story. I enjoy seeing memorials with more than just dates and photos of graves.
