Hello-I just noticed that you posted a picture of my Grandmother's (Lillie McDaniel Ward) maternal Grandmother. Where did you get the picture? Are we
related? I have a similar one, and quite a few others of her Granpa Nix, Uncle Lem, etc. I also have her turkey bell.

Thank you so much for creating a memorial and taking the photo of headstone for Robert Joseph Amaya. I would like to request the permission to use this photo on my family tree. I always give credit to Find a Grave and to the photographer. Thanks again.

Hi! I see you have a photo request for Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland Maryland. I'm taking a trip there soon and I'm planning on trying to fulfill as many requests as I can. Since this cemetery is so large (about 80,000 graves) it would help to have the section and plots of the burials. I have spoken to Carmelita Walker from CHC. She said she can't give locations of these sites to me since I'm not related but she said if you call her at 301-568-5400 & tell her that you're a relative (or think you may be!) she can give it to you. She said there's no charge for this information. If you could get the info soon (by 9/6) that would be great! If you are no longer interested in fulfilling the request for whatever reason, just let me know too so I can cross it off my list. Thanks!

You're quite welcome. I'm glad I could fulfill your photo request. Yes, please feel free to upload the photos to Jennie's husband's page as well. Cheers, Ryan.

I am the great grand-daughter of Jesse Seamans from his 3rd daughter Oleta Marie (Seamans)Jones/Chambers. Oleta married Samual W. Jones and had 2 children Clyde W. Jones and my mother Norma Lee (Jones) Ruth. After the death of my grandfather in 1972 she remarried a very kind man by the name of Richard Chambers.
Oleta was tall and slender, highly intelligent with a wonderful sense of humor. She had class, along with a great sense of style. Oleta was a woman before her time.
Oleta had a total of 8 grandchildren; 5 from her son Clyde (3 girls and 2 boys), and 3 girls from her daughter Norma. Oleta Jones/Chambers and Samuel W. Jones are both interred at Arroyo Grande Cemetery, Arroyo Grande, California.
Jesse also had another daughter by the name of Mable that died, I believe, in her late 20's or early 30's from complications of Diabetes just like her mother in 1960. I don't know if Mable ever had children but I do believe she was married. Mable has a quilt hanging in the Greenwood Museum in Greenwood, Arkansas.
Jesse was also known as "Peanuts" and, to my knowledge, was involved in some sort of trucking company, by either owning it or working there. Also, to my understanding, he recieved his nickname due to his love for peanuts during this time.
I was fortunate to have known him for a short time when I was very young. He passed away when I was 5 years old. As I remember, he read me stories although his body was crippled by rheumatoid arthritis.
