Thanks for your article on Arthur Kane. I loved New York Doll--what an amazing piece of filmmaking. I didn't know the story of his ashes.
Thanks also to your friend who recommended the Pitchfork piece on Judee Sill; I just read and enjoyed it.
I ended up here while reading about Carl Panzram. The graves of the notorious are an interesting topic. I wonder whether a penitentiary cemetery is especially prone to vandalism.

You're welcome, Mike. I'm a fan of both Judee and Find a Grave so it's my pleasure.
You might enjoy this article that is about both of those things.

I can't say of course if you added the map-but is it right? See map on
Eton (St. John) Church Cemetery which I know to be correct-is it the same place

He is my Great Grandfather. I know quite a bit about it. I have several newspaper clippings and have spoken with a few family members who were living at the time. Pretty Strange guy from what I've heard/read. If you don't mind me asking how do you know?

I appreciate your bio of Peter-I wrote one myself and as you have done; I love the fact that you include that Peter battled depression successfully-a fact many choose to leave out.
I sincerely feel his fight to help those heal from sadness was just as great as his fight for the campaign to use medicinal marijuana.

YOU EXPRESS MY VERY THOUGHTS ON THIS SADNESS. THERE WILL ALWAYS BE SEEKERS TRYING TO FIND THE TRUTH AND THERE WILL ALWAYS BE THE JIM JONES' EXPLOITING THEM FOR THEIR OWN INSANE END.

I appreciate your comment about Western hedonism, which is a problem that would keep us from being blessed by God. It is sad to me to see how few people left memorials to such a giant as Alexandr Solzhenitsyn. How soon the world forgets.
