I'm a genealogy enthusiast, a Civil War & U.S. military history buff and have always had a fascination with cemeteries. I'm also a USAF veteran of the Persian Gulf War and a second generation hillbilly (Kentucky).|
My current Find-A-Grave projects are locating graves and updating existing memorials for members of two of my great-great-grandfather's Civil War regiments (23rd Kentucky and 28th Ohio Infantries, both Union). I appreciate all of the cooperation I'm receiving from my fellow gravers! I'm also helping to clean up the "Autograver" mess at Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Most of my memorials are family, but I do enter military veterans and other graves that may catch my eye from time to time. If I have a memorial of a relative or friend of yours, send me a transfer request by way of a SAC. I don't follow FAG's transfer guidelines as if they were the Ten Commandments like some folks do. If you have ever refused to transfer the memorial of a relative to someone - shame on you. That's just plain mean. What a truly horrible person it takes to be selfish with the memory of someone's deceased friend or loved one.
Please feel free to use my grave marker photos for your personal use. ½

Yes, Rob, I would be delighted if you could add images of these headstones to Find A Grave. Thank you SO much for your kind offer. JKA

Thanks. I didn't see any of their kids on the online index that is on the GenWeb. I am transcribing St Paul's in Newport marriage records and several of their children were often witnesses to marriages. Looked like most got married in the parsonage during the 20s-40s. Some really late at night.

Thanks for adding her. I had wondered if any of their children were buried nearby.

Thanks for the awesome photos. Looks like you have a pretty day there. Kinda gray and dreary here.

Hi, Rob. What was your message?
|Ann Limberger Doell||John & Louisa Miller|
Thank you so much for your work on John and Louisa's graves! I was surprised at how fast you posted them and really touched that you added Louisa and transferred management to me. I hadn't even begun to look for her yet.
Thank you again,

Thanks so much! I'm trying to find out more about Avery Stoddard, who was my 4th great grandfather. I read in his pension papers that he died 17 Jan 1864, so either that date is wrong or he wasn't buried until February. Looking forward to the pics. Sarah Ann Stoddard (widow of Avery) should have some stone(s) because there was a receipt for them in Avery's pension papers.

Sorry, my finger slipped last time. The second photo posted of this woman (Helena Menzel Grossman #22560526) looks much much older than 26 yrs old (the age when she died). Are you sure this 2nd photo is of Helena M. Grossman who was married to Dr. Fred A. Grossman? I understand that Helena's sister, Mary J. Grossman-Walker helped care for Helena's two children after she died.
Thanks for all your postings of memorials for the Grueninger and Grossman family members. You and I share Gottfried and Katherina Dorothea Hagele as ancestors. I descend from their daughter, Maria Grueninger who came to America and upon settling in Lockland, Hamilton Co., OH, married Adam Schwarz. Thanks, Mary
