IMPORTANT NOTICE: Over the years I have left hundreds of memorial notes on Confederate veteran's FindAGrave memorial pages, using a particular Confederate Flag as a symbol. Recently I discovered that flag had been replaced with flowers. If you see one of my memorial messages left on a memorial page with flowers instead of the flag, please notify me so that I can make the appropriate changes.|
Sons of Confederate Veterans Compatriot - Camp No. 1921 - The Tallassee Armory Guards.
Please feel free to use/share photographs and other historical information I've posted to memorials.
The Chattahoochee Valley Historical Society has endorsed FindAGrave and as a member of that society I have visited many cemeteries and added graves/memorials on its behalf.
I manage several hundred memorials in Chambers County, AL that Hank Rogers transferred over to me before he became inactive with F.A.G.
Also, most of the very old newspaper items on my memorials are through the courtesy of F.A.G. Member #47182102 who has painstakingly transcribed volumes of "The LaFayette Sun", the official newspaper of Chambers County, Alabama.

|Pamela Coe Daniels||RE: Charles Simeon Dean - Rock Spring Cemetery|
Thank you for your kind remarks. I made a special trip to AL to lay the marker for Simeon Dean in May. He is my GGG Grandfather. It breaks my heart to see my ancestor's graves unmarked. This was a labor of love as I live in Leesburg, GA. Made the trip with my Mom so I also spend quality time with her. I am in the process of doing this for any ancestors that I find unmarked. I also walked the land that Simeon owned in 1860 which is at the end of the road from the cemetary. It was a humbling experience that Mom & I both enjoyed. Left there with a sense of purpose & respect. Thank you again for noticing ~ Pam
