Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, mother of three son's and wife to a wonderful man for forty years. I am researching Shaffer & Nutter in West Virginia. Graves, Swick, Snyder, Dyer, Lawless and Holcomb in southern Ohio. I'll be happy to transfer non-family members, please feel free to ask. While researching in the cemeteries, I like to take names and photo's of near by non-family members also in the hope of maybe helping other families.|
Good Luck to all in their research and God Bless You all!

|waD||Re: Graves Family|
So glad you like the newspaper clip in James Alfred Graves memorial. I just added some to his brother, Wesley 127571873 and I am heading to my local library microfilm file to find William's obituary. I want to thank you for adding the obituary for Wesley Graves daughter, Mary. I was looking for the parents of Minnie Leininger when I found Mary's obit. I have added a newspaper clip to (Minnie) Marion's memorial 85479310 that you may find interesting. I found Thomas Graves barely readable newspaper obit on ancestry and your comments. The one remaining unreadable word yet to be transcribed is "beneficial". The clip is from a Salem, Oregon newspaper because it reads "William and Wesley of this city". Thanks for the encouraging words.

|Michael Shaffer||RE: Collection of Shaffers|
Thanks for the kind words. I've been researching my family for over 20 years and I try to put everything I find on the internet for others to see and hopefully find something they can use or at least steer them in the right direction. My family is also connected to the Harper's. Mary Shaver, who was the sister of my gg grandfather (Lafayette Shaver/Shaffer) was married to Samuel A. Harper. Another sister of Lafayette (Humirah/Elmira Shaver) was married to Stephen P. Harper,son of Enoch Harper. If you have any questions about anything I have posted don't hesitate to ask.

Please stay in touch with me.... I have been adding obits to the memorials.... know it will be helpful in years to come. After I finish connecting the families I will be happy to transfer. As of right now if I transfer then I have to go back and get permission every time I want to connect a family. Hope you understand. This is going to be my legacy to my home town that I love dearly. Thanks Becky

You took a very good picture Would you please email a good copy of her tomb stone?
